Everything went smooth and quick with our roof replacement and gutter replacement. Ian was very thorough in explaining everything and keeping us informed during the whole process. Edited. Unfortunately, the work was not as good as the salesman. Before the project started, I had asked if the gutters would be removed when removing the old shingles and Ian didn’t know. They did not remove the old gutters when replacing the roof. The gutter flashing was cut for the old gutter nails, then a few weeks later the old gutters were removed and replaced with new gutters. The flashing now has cuts in it, allowing water to drip between the gutters and fascia, which will definitely cause water damage. And they did a horrible job on sloping the gutters, so now they just hold water. It’s a mess. Now I have to replace all the gutter flashing on my whole house and garage, and fix the sloping. Also, the gutter installers did not speak English. So when I asked them to put large holes for the downspouts that I was installing myself, they did not. So I have nice new 5” gutters with a little 2” downspout hole for my 4” downspouts. In addition, they told me that if I give a 5 star review that my name would be put in a drawing to win something, so I did. That’s probably why they have so many good reviews. I am now changing this to a 2 star review to reflect the actual work that was done. Highly recommend finding another company!

Dear Misty Lucero, Thank you for your feedback. We value the history we’ve had working with you, which is why we’re disappointed to see this experience reflected in your review. While we understand your frustration, we do want to address a few important points. A review of our communication history shows that we made every reasonable effort to advocate on your behalf throughout this process. This included coordinating directly with Allstate and facilitating two separate inspections to properly document the damage. However, due to Allstate rescheduling inspections, we were unfortunately already committed during the new times, and they were unwilling to work with us to find alternative availability. Despite this, we continued to act in good faith and in your best interest. We wish you the best moving forward. Anna, Customer Relationship Manager

Advocate roofing came into my neighborhood and pushed their way into filing a claim with my home insurance. They claimed that my house needed a new roof when it didn’t. Advocate roofing could not prove to my home insurance that we had hail damage to our shingles. They also told my insurance company that my house had broken windows when it didn’t. This company is a scam and don’t let them talk you into getting onto your roof to inspect it because they will lie to try and get paid. I also reached out to the sales manager and left a message. Ian never returned my phone call.

Dear Miranda Wallace, We’re very sorry to hear about your experience. Our records show that you contacted us on Friday afternoon and posted this review the same day, prior to us having the opportunity to return your call. We regret missing the chance to speak with you directly before your concerns were shared publicly and understand that you have since talked with our sales manager. At Advocate Roofing, our representatives are trained to conduct honest, professional inspections and only recommend filing an insurance claim when legitimate storm damage is identified. In your case, the adjuster did acknowledge that your home was affected by the storm. While we do not determine the severity of the damage, we take pride in our ability to work with insurance companies to help homeowners restore their properties to their pre-storm condition. We genuinely regret that your experience didn’t meet expectations and if you're open to a further conversation, please reach out to us directly at 720-923-1533. We’re committed to listening and doing what we can to make things right. Sincerely, Anna Customer Relationship Manager Advocate Roofing

This entire process has been frustrating for us to get a roof. Communication has been severely lacking and I would NOT recommend using this company if you have anything else going on in your life besides installing a roof. It started with Drew in Sales, who reassured us that he would get our HOA approval for the roof since the HOA company was the same as his own. We called him two weeks before install and then again a week before install. He assured us on both occasions that he would follow up with the HOA. He never did. It came down to the day before our roof installation and Drew had never reached out. Once this issue was escalated t0 Drew's boss, Jordan, worked with us to rectify the situation and gave us a $250 credit for our trouble (keep in mind that the credit never showed up on the bill). It was inconvenient and took time out of our day to deal with the HOA and Advocate to get anything done. Then, the day of installation, the crew completely broke a piece of our siding off of the house and glued it back up as if we wouldn't notice. No one admitted to communicated with us about this damage, we had to find it ourselves. Their work was shoddy and they damaged our brand new screen door. Again, we escalated this to Arthur, our Construction Manager. He assured us that it would all be fixed but asked us to pay for the fix and they would reimburse us. Absolutely not. The crew to fix the shoddy work on the roof came out 2.5 weeks after the roof was originally installed. We were told they were coming at 4pm, so we made arrangements with work to be available. They showed up at 10am, which caused chaos and inconvenience as I had to juggle work obligations. At that time, Arthur was contacted and told about the inconvenience and asked about the siding and the screen door. He indicated that he was looking for a siding contractor and asked us again to front the money, which we will not do for damage that was created by them. When asked about the screen door, he said they w

I would give this company zero stars if I could. Stay clear of this company. They are beyond shady. They helped us in the beginning get our insurance company to accept our hail claim. Their subcontractors that did the actual work were good but that’s it. Advocate lacks skills of transparency, communication, and courtesy. They didn’t tell us anything about what category or type of roof we would get. They never responded to emails, never told us when items were going to be delivered, explained costs, couldn’t answer simple Warranty information, and that’s just to name a few. After confirming the day of installation, my husband took the day off, lost wages and set up shop in our park because our dogs have a fear of noise. All this for them to be a no show and if it wasn’t for my husband, calling ( around noon) to ask when they were coming, he wouldn’t have known. Zero communication!! The next day they came for the installation and damaged our deck, burnt our grass, ran over our grass while leaving, our canned lights in our house were falling out of the ceiling, tar was all over, our gutters were pushed out more than normal and my husband found nails and roofing in between. When we reported all this, a guy came out, said that WE would have to find somebody to get it fixed and they would pay for the cost. My husband took it upon himself to fix all the issues and when we asked for money back, they offered us $1200 credit for our portion of the payment, but this was after they kept increasing the price via supplemental through our insurance with no explanation at all. Also, Drew told us not only would we get the $1200 off, we would go back to our original Agreement but then came back stating no, he needed the additional checks from the insurance once finalized. He lied and went back on his word! I asked several times for a final invoice , and when they came yesterday to collect the final check from us, we found out that the price had increased again and didn’t match what

Advocate Roofing is in our 12th year of business, and one of our core values is integrity. Accusations of hiding costs and being called "shady" do not sit well with us. We contacted the DiCinos immediately and appreciated Mr. and Mrs. DiCino making time to speak with a member of our leadership team. We apologize for any breakdowns in communication the DiCinos may have experienced. During our meeting, we reviewed the specific scope of work that Advocate Roofing had provided to Mr. and Mrs. DiCino in May of 2024. This scope of work clearly states their financial responsibility and what is being covered by their insurance company. The scope of work also informed them of the permit and supplement process. They were assured in May of 2024 that there would be no further out-of-pocket expenses, and as of today, all parties have aligned on the billing. We confirmed that our team was at the home the same day the crew had damaged their deck and can lights. We spoke with Mr. DiCino then, and he accepted an offer of a $1,200 reduction to their final invoice to cover any costs. We have no control over the permits the city requires; the City of Thornton sets the obligations for any permits and all related fees. Regardless, there were no increased costs of the permits, and the DiCinos were not charged for anything more than their deductible, as explained in their scope of work.

Had to edit my first review which was 5 stars because I was promised a nice gift card in exchange, which I never received, despite several reminders. Brody did what he did best throughout the process. False promises and messages ignored. I'm satisfied with the job itself, but communication was going well until I handed the $. I'd received delayed or no answers whenever I followed up on a specific item or had a question. @sjm - No one did.

Thank you for chatting with us last week about your experience, Christian. It was great to hear that you were happy with the work we did for you and that you received the gift cards as promised. We noticed that your post still has a 2-star review instead of the 5-star review you had originally gifted us, so we wanted to check in to see if there was anything else we could do to make things right. If we can assist you with anything, please don't hesitate to email us at info@advocateconstruction.com or call us at (720) 923-1533. Thanks again for choosing us, and we look forward to hearing from you soon!

The sales process for this company is sketchy to say the least. Drew showed up at my house, pitched me for 20 seconds without allowing me the chance to say a word. Finished his pitch with, "we are conducting free roof inspections, I'll begin now." Then he walked off. Next thing I know he has a ladder and is climbing up my house, outside of a kid's bedroom! Not sure if this is just how Drew conducts business or if this is part of their training, either way, additional training is needed.

Hi Mr. Steiner, We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. We view all feedback as a gift. We aim for 5-star experience with every interaction. Sounds like your experience fell short. For this we apologize. We have helped several neighbors in your area get their roof replaced after the recent storm and all of the work was paid for by their insurance company. Drew was excited to help you as well. We’re disappointed that the inspection caused you any inconvenience and hope to repair our relationship so we can keep the door open to helping you as well. If you’d be willing to take 7 minutes out of your day to share a bit more details about your experience and how we can improve as a company, we would be happy to make a $50 donation to a non-profit charity of your choice. Please send an email to info@advocateroofing.com with your phone number and a couple of times when we could connect via phone. Thanks again for the feedback.

Over eager sales team has put 3 flyers on my door saying that they have confirmed hail damage in my neighborhood, The salesman then was very rude when I explained to him that I was also in the restoration business and that we had not had any damaging hail in the area he stated that they still had hail maps showing hail in our neighborhood. I am sorry but there is no damage to my home or any homes that is storm related. I would be very Leary as it seems as their “waiver” to get on a roof is also a contract not to mention they also parked the wrong direction on the street and borderline blocked my driveway.
Reply from the business
Dear AJ, We always appreciate feedback at Advocate Roofing; it's how we improve our service. If you would be so kind, the salesperson wrote their name at the top of one of the three flyers. Please email info@advocateconstruction.com, and in the subject line, please put “Your name and address and the salesperson’s name then -sjm.” We will then follow up directly with the salesperson. Relating to your concern about hail damage in the neighborhood. More than likely, we have completed hail-damaged related projects in your neighborhood or area in the last 30-60 days. Over 90 percent of damage to a roof is not visible from the ground. Our process is straightforward, our salesperson does a visual inspection from a ladder. They do not get on a roof. If impact to the roof is visible from the ladder, we will call in one of our field service team members to meet with the homeowner’s insurance adjuster. We ask for a letter of agreement or contract that simply says if your roof has been impacted, and we work with your insurance carrier for approval on your behalf, that you agree to let us do the work that your insurance company approved. You are responsible only for your deductible. We don’t have or use a “waiver,” and our salesperson will never go on your roof. To learn more about Advocate Roofing, please see https://advocateroofing.com/advocate-roofing-video/ We’re sorry that the parking of a vehicle on the street was concerning. We’d like to make it up to you. If you would be kind enough to share the information above via email, we’d like to send you a gift card for a cup of coffee (or beverage of your choice) on us. We appreciate your sharing your concerns and will look forward to hearing from you. Thank you. sjm

Advocate was great to work with! After a major hail storm Advocate helped us replace our roof, gutters, and paint. They went above and beyond advocating for us-we hadn't imagined we would be able to have our house repainted, too. Drew was our representative with Advocate and he was wonderful. He was prompt in replies and did all of the work with the insurance company. Should we have another hail storm we will be working with Advocate again!
