  I was away at work and we had an ice dam build up. Charged us $1000 to remove the ice. They hardly removed anything. When I got back from my work trip, I opened the window, leaned out over the pitch roof and removed all of the ice with a hammer in around 10 minutes. Opportunists and would never recommend or use again. Disgraceful.

  We had arranged financing through their preferred lender. Everything went fine getting the roof funded. More than a month after finishing the gutters they reached out and said we could not use the prearranged financing and would have to pay cash for the gutters. I complained and they applied for a second loan for both services. As of now they’ve been paid twice for the roof and once for the gutters. Pending a response on a refund The quality of work is good so far. The price of about $45k combined roof and gutters combined is very high for a 2400 sf house but they sold me on the quality of the work Rating would be higher if the funding through their lender went as promised. If fix it I may change my review

  TL;DR: listen to what local contractors and homeowners say in private, and do not trust this company. They may make the initial experience "shiny" but do not stand behind their low-quality work. I had Vaillancourt install a roof on my 250 year old home in May 2.5 years ago, with the goal of addressing issues with ice dams and a roofing leak on one corner of the roof. This was something I communicated very clearly to the "sales engineer" and showed him pictures of the issues I was seeing. They reassured me that they would make sure the roof was solid, and put down extra ice shield (with significant upcharge) across the entire roof at my request. They rushed the $30K overpriced job, and the foreman even said they were hurrying to wrap up a day early. I ended up with roofing nails in my driveway and hanging from the trees. I had to have them come back twice due to detail issues where rain was being redirected into my porch and door. Not an ideal initial experience, but the new roof looked fine. 1.5 years later (the first winter was very mild) during the first real snow I had ice dams and it rained in my kitchen. Icicles 10 times worse than it had been before the new roof, and it had NEVER been bad enough to enter the actual living area. I called Vaillancourt to discuss the issue. "Act of God" and "once in a decade storm" ... did not bother to look at the issues that time. I spent the weekend dealing with ice dams on the roof myself. To be clear: I had a new roof put on by a supposedly well-respected company to address roof integrity issues, and they only made it worse. And blame me. The very next year the issues were even worse, and it's been leaking on and off into the living space for 4 weeks. Again Vaillancourt came by the inspect. This time the gentlemen actually took the time to assess the issue. Clearly the entire solution is leaking, and there is no physical damage, but as installed the roof leaks.   The staff was very friendly before I signed the contract for the roof repair, but the communication and service quality declined noticeably afterward. I had to make multiple calls just to schedule the work, which was ultimately set for three weeks after signing the contract. On the scheduled day, the technician did not show up. After rescheduling to the following day, I was also told the work would be done in the morning, but the crew did not arrive until the evening. In addition, they promised to provide before, during, and after photos of the repair, but those were never sent. I followed up with email and text asking for photos, never responded. Overall, the experience felt poorly coordinated and inconsistent with the level of responsiveness shown before the contract was signed

  Poor communication experience leading up to my appointment. I received a call and text on a Sunday asking me to contact them about an upcoming appointment, but with no explanation of why. When I texted back, I got no response. Calling the next day meant sitting through lengthy automated messaging before being connected to an undisclosed AI assistant that couldn't help me. Requesting a live representative sent me straight to voicemail. A follow-up voicemail from them then commented that I wasn't answering my calls — which felt unprofessional, as I was at work and not always available by phone. After all of that, the only reason for the outreach was to confirm my appointment. A simple "please confirm your upcoming appointment" from the start would have saved everyone time and frustration.

  Asked for a estimate. Got a sob story and outrageous numbers on the job . I'm all for good materials. Wasted a few hours of my time on a job I know would cost no more than 1k-1.4k for any other person that knew what they were doing. And the dude urinated on my toilet seat after using our bathroom.

  Customers beware!! Worst experience and very unprofessional company. They took my deposit of 50% and held it for a month, then cancelled on me a week before the job and tried to extort me into replacing my entire roof when I only had scheduled some metal accent work.. They said they’d still do the job only if I gave them the entire roof to do. The existing roof is fine and not needed at this point. Ended up delaying my entire construction job. Most likely mis priced and tried to make it up by saying I needed an entire roof. A dishonest company. Save your self some grief and pass on this company. Deception!!

  Definitely look elsewhere... I had them come fix my leaking roof 2 years ago. It is leaking again now, but the difference is i no longer have the money to have a company fix it because I'm still paying the $12,000 it cost me to have them fix a few shingles and re seal around 2 vent pipes... I called them and asked and wouldn't you know it there warranty only covers 18 months... so now I have the same problem only I'm STILL paying them off! "we can have someone come re assess it for free." Thanks...

  Keith Fisher and his crew stripped and installed a new roof on my home. Keith and the entire crew worked very hard and finished the whole job in one day as promised. Even after a very long day the entire crew was very thorough about cleaning up after themselves. Andy Fredette was the representative who sold us the job and was also very pleasant to work with. The new roof looks terrific!
