Acadiana Roofing was great all around. Communication from the beginning to the end was fantastic. I’ve never had to have a roof changed (This was my first time) and they walked me through each and every step of the way. When it came time to change the roof, they completed it flawlessly in less than one day. I’d recommend them to anyone! 5 Stars all around. Thank y’all again so much for making this so easy for me.

As a FORTIFIED Evaluator, I’ve worked with Jason and his team at Acadiana on several homes, and they consistently do things the right way. A lot of contractors can put on a roof, but FORTIFIED takes more than that—it requires attention to detail, using the correct materials, installing everything to spec, and documenting it properly. That’s where a lot of crews fall short. Jason’s team doesn’t. They’re organized, they understand the process, and they always give me exactly what I need to get the roof certified. It makes my job easier, gets the homeowners through the process faster and gives homeowners confidence that their roof was done right. Highly recommend!

We appreciate your recognition of our attention to detail, organization, and documentation, and are glad we can make certification smoother for you and the homeowners. We look forward to continuing to meet those standards on future homes.

Why That Hole Means Everything for a FORTIFIED Roof in New Iberia, LA. You've seen our posts about tearing every roof down to the bare decking and finding hidden holes like this one. Here's why it matters even more on a FORTIFIED job. A FORTIFIED roof isn't just a nicer shingle. It's an official designation, verified by an independent, IBHS-certified FORTIFIED Evaluator, that your roof was built to a hurricane and high-wind standard. And a huge part of what gets inspected isn't the shingles at all. It's the wood underneath. To earn the designation, the roof deck has to be: · Re-fastened to a stronger nailing pattern so it can't lift in high wind · Sealed into a secondary water barrier, so even if shingles come off in a storm, water still can't get into your home Now look at the photo. You cannot re-nail into rotted wood. You cannot seal a deck that has holes in it. A roof like this would fail a FORTIFIED evaluation on the spot. That's exactly why we cut out every bad section and install new decking before anything else goes on. It's not extra. It's the foundation the entire FORTIFIED system, and the discount on your insurance, is built on. A FORTIFIED Designated roof means someone independent checked the wood, not just the shingles. 👉 Want a roof that's verified to stand up to the next storm?
