  Kind of shady from my experience, proceed with caution. The consultant Alex told us we needed a new roof due to water damage and said we could parlay it into an insurance repair and get some interior paint work done too- win win situation, right? So we listened to the professional and filed a claim, but when the insurance adjuster came out, it was determined that we don't need a new roof after all and we essentially wasted our ability to make a legitimate insurance claim for the next 18 months or risk increasing our premiums. Alex did come to meet the adjuster at our house, which was nice, but still failed to produce the desired result which left us frustrated and questioning why a professional roofer would tell us we needed a new roof if we actually do not...

  I have been fighting with their AP department for months regarding the amount I owe them. I initially paid for interior work that was to be completed with my roof and siding. The interior work was not completed, but I was invoiced for the full amount. After some back and forth, it was determined that the work was in fact not done, but they decided it wasn't worth their time to do it, so they offered me a refund. The refund amount they have offered has changed several times, and they are unable to provide me with any documentation regarding how much is being refunded, and how much I owe for supplementation. They are a nightmare to deal with, and would not recommend doing business with them.

  Nothing but issues since hired Abernathy to replace our roof! It’s been a year and a half and we have a huge leak in our bedroom! We’ve been calling for a month because we are under warranty and all they did was send someone to take pictures and have never called us back to set up a time or even tell us that how are going to fix this. Our soffits are also rotting out because they did not put our gutters back on properly. We’ve told them this when they were first put back on and we were given excuses about how our gutter covers were the problem (we removed them which helped nothing) or how our roof is too steep. However we didn’t have this problem before our roof was replaced. When they replaced our roof they also gave no foresight to our flower beds and solar lights and destroyed them by throwing the existing roof off and without even trying to cover them. I’ve been told several times that someone will call us back and I’m still waiting a month later. Do not expect good service or for their “warranty” to mean anything.

  Alex Watkins and Abernathy roofing are the best to work with. This spring we had wind damage That ripped off a piece of fascia on the top level of the roof. Alex came out on time and searched all over town for a color matched piece. He was not able to find it, but he did give me excellent recommendations On a comparable color And it looks great. Several weeks later, we had some siding come loose after another storm. I called Alex and he came out the next day and fixed it himself. We will definitely use them in the future.

  We just had a new roof put on by Abernathy roofing and we are amazed! Norm Glueckert, the project manager, was a pure joy to work with. Norm not only explained things well and kept us abreast of the timing of our roof in the midst of changing weather but he was also very courteous and overly conscientious of his work quality and that of the roofing crew. The crews prepped very well to protect our plants and yard and completed our roof in a timely manner. Additionally the extra care taken during clean up was greatly appreciated! Thank you to Norm and his crew! We are so grateful that we chose Abernathy to work with!

  We were very happy with the way Abernathy took care of our roofing needs after a recent hail storm. Norm and his crew put on our new roof today and we certainly have no complaints.   Ethan responded after hours when my roof was leaking after the hail damage. He worked in the rain to get the cover on the roof to help prevent more leaking into the house.
