Terrific crew did the work as desired and finished before dark. However owner tricked us into buying new skylights.

Poor customer service. Had 2 older men arrive to provide me with an estimate and asked then to wait for the insurance adjuster as he was on his way and they did not. Just drove off and didn't even tell me they were leaving. It was the easiest $15k they could've made if they were more courteous.

We do not have any record of being contacted by a Diana Prince or scheduling any meeting with any one by this name for roofing services. Can you provide an address? We do not have a sales team that would consist of two older men, so this seems to be an error or odd attack on our business. It is strange that you have a positive review of another roofing company in our area just one year ago. Please reach out if there is any way we can help but this review does not accurately reflect A1 Roofing and Construction based in Middletown Rhode Island. *We reached out to the only customer with a similar name and the response was: ”Please tell Sean I love the work he did on the roof and I would have never said anything negative about him. A1 did a fabulous job”

It is sad to see all these great reviews. Based on the reviews I was excited to see a company that really puts for the effort. However after emailing A1 and getting an initial estimate I have been waiting for formal quote. It never came …

High marks for A1 Roofing! After those torrential rains this summer we had a leak in our 25 year-old roof. So we called around and a few neighbors recommended A1 as "the best". We heard back from them right away and got a fair price. Just a week later, they were onsite and reroofed our entire house in ONE day! Pretty amazing. A1 workers carried out the job expertly, installed new wood and beautiful architectural tiles, put up with a wasp nest, protected our grounds and gardens, and cleaned up afterwards. Super pleased with the job they did. From manager Atillio to Marcus, Addy, and Sean-- good people and great results! See photos -- Gianna & Kevin Sullivan

No job too small for A1. We had two shingles blow off the ridge vent of our roof. Someone came down to look at it within hours of calling. Work was scheduled and the price quoted. Price was very reasonable, and the work was performed promptly and professionally on the scheduled date. Everyone I dealt with was polite and courteous. A1 lives up to its name.

Given their vast experience with historic Newport properties and their solid reputation, we chose A1 Roofing and Construction to completely replace the roof, the copper ledge work, and the gutters on our almost 200-year-old historic home. …

"I give A-1 Roofing a solid 4.8 out of 5. This company truly has its act together. Their efficiency and workmanship were exceptional. They worked into the evening and were trying to finish up as the sun was setting. Overall, the work was top-notch, and they impressively completed the job in just one (long) day."

My roof was waaaay past its prime and then a branch torpedoed it. When I asked my neighbors, “Which roofer should I call?” they all said the same thing, “Well, really it’s all about A-1. They’re kind of the kings of roofing around here.” …

A1 Roofing just replaced an old tin roof on my garage with a new raised seam aluminum roof. It was a tricky job because my garage was originally built from a Sears kit over 50 years ago! The A1 Team came in to see the job and gave me a quote. They planned the job out and when they arrived to do the work they attacked it like a well trained team. It took a total of 3 days (during a blistering heat wave) to completely remove the old roof down to the framing, reinforce the existing framing and install the new roof. They left the job site spotless at the end of each day. I couldn’t be happier with the results. The entire team was polite, professional and great to work with. I highly recommend A1
