  i hired a1-allAmerican roofing to replace my roof. during the removal process they failed to cover the open ceiling and drains and all the roofing material went inside the building and inside the built drain box and drains.After the first rain 3 months later my entire building flooded out. they came back and said that a handful of leaves clogged the drain although they neglected to cover the drains when they did the demolition which prevented the water from draining properly . They reluctantly agreed to file a claim with their insurance company they suggested we snake out the drains because their plumbers are located in Palos Verdes and it was too far for them to travel to Hollywood although their offices are in Carson and plumbers travel all over the city for work. there was very little supervision during the tear off process. When i requested that they stop so that they do not cause further damage. they did not want to stop until Ben Holm was available the next day They repaired the gutters but neglected to take responsibility for anything else After we paid for cleaning out the drains so everything could flow the roof was functional although they neglected to take any responsibility for the damage they caused verbally they agreed to pay for remediation work and contacted Servpro but did not want to release the quote to us causing further damage to our building. they charged us to raise the pitch of the roof to provide better drainage still the drains flooded out because they stopped up the drains with roofing material. to date they have not provided any information to their insurance company in order to process the claim Mr holm comments reflect the fact you can say anything on the internet the only issue is you don’t have to prove it then there is no value to the comments Stay away from this company

  We are sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction and appreciate the opportunity to clarify the events for anyone reading. When Dina first contacted A-1 All American Roofing to inspect her warehouse roof, she declined to meet us in person and did not allow our team access inside the building. Without the ability to inspect the interior conditions, we could not fully advise on the appropriate protective measures needed underneath the roof during removal. As outlined clearly in the contract it is the owner's responsibility to cover or protect interior contents during a reroof or ask us to add this to our proposal. She acknowledged and read this provision out loud during a phone call with us prior to project start. When we began work, she again decided to not be present. We had no access to the interior. Only later that day, once she opened the warehouse, she informed us that some debris were entering. Upon her notification, we immediately stopped all work, without hesitation we deployed the crew to install full plastic protection across the interior of the warehouse the same day at no additional cost. This was a major undertaking and done solely as a goodwill gesture, despite the disruption being outside our contractual responsibility. Furthermore, to show good faith and minimize the inconvenience to her, we voluntarily issued over $8,000 in reimbursements to engage in cleaning services — again, without obligation — even though she had fully signed off on the project's scope and terms beforehand and we could have stood firm. After completion of the roofing project, she engaged an independent third-party inspector. Dina herself informed us afterward that the inspection went well and said, "You did a good job," before proceeding to pay the balance in full without any further objection. Several months after project completion, during a heavy rainstorm, the exterior parking lot drainage system — not the roof — failed. All four roof drains are connect to the parking lot’s

  Super unprofessional. Refused to take phone calls, said he only texts. That would have been fine if he would just respond. Multiple messages went ignored, showed up 30 minutes early to my inspection, conducted the inspection and then FINALLY called me and wanted to leave before I had even arrived. Then when it came to scheduling the repairs identified during the inspection, more of the same. Ignored multiple messages and phone calls. Ended up going with someone else who was super responsive, completed the work very professionally, and was half the price of A-1. Happy to provide their contact info if anyone is looking for a roofing contractor. A-1 might be good at what he does, but it was a really negative experience just trying to work with him. I've never had someone so actively resist me trying to pay them thousands of dollars.

  All time worst company in the world. They gave me a quote, I had a couple of questions, but planned to move forward. For whatever reason they refused to answer my questions. I continued to pursue answers and after 1.5 YEARS I received the answers to 2 very simple questions. Satisfied with the answers, I signed and submitted their contract as they requested and they said they would give me a date to do the roof and they were never to be heard from again. Who does that? This is absolutely the most horrible business practices I have ever experienced. Everyone deserves fair treatment. Roofs are expensive. The least, the very least they can do after putting the effort in to provide a quote is answering questions. Not providing service with a signed contract is just plain wrong. They are a broken operation.

  Simply one of the worst companies i have ever ran into. They did our roof 10 years or so ago. No problems no issues. Now when we need to get it replaced all of sudden the work they did last time they some how magically cant replicate. The guy on the phone was extremely rude when i tried to get a detailed answer from him on why they were able to do it but now they cant. Extremely rude Extremely arrogant. I would never do business with this company anymore period and i suggest finding some one else if you are looking.

  From my first phone call to A-1. I knew I had found the right place. Molly and Nicole listened carefully to my concerns over the roof on our house ands quickly set up an appointment with Soroush , AKA "Sha-roof". He took his time to identify the issues, showed me photos, explained the options and sent me a well thought out assessment and estimate for the work. He answered my many questions and concerns and left me even more confident I had found the right company. I got two other estimates to compare, but neither company showed the care and thoroughness that A-1 did. And their price was right in line with the others. The work crew, led by George , was competent and careful and kept me fully informed, including photos and videos of the work in progress on the roof. They finished on time and cleaned up thoroughly . They deserve their selection as top roofing company for the South Bay as chosen by the Easy Reader respondents .

  A1 did a great job replacing my tiles and redoing my roof . Matt the sales person was very professional and helpful. Sigi and his team were top notch, polite and cleaning after the job was completed was great to see was appreciated. George,Darci and Taylor were always prompt in responding to work schedule and project completion timelines . I also appreciated George sending me pictures each day with updates of how the project was progressing. Thank you to the whole A1 team .

  We want to thank all the crew at A1 roofing. From our first meeting with Saroosh, who was so thorough and gave us a professional estimate, we knew we were with a great company. Also, thanks to Darcy, Taylor, Molly in the office. Whatever questions we had they were so happy to answer. The dates for the project were exactly as they said. They kept us informed with every step. And finally to our roofing crew, they were pleasant and so respectful of our home. They were clean, safe and efficient.
