  If you need your roof replaced, I'd go with a different outfit. The BARE MINIMUM was used for our roof vents, which just meets code. A lot of other companies are restricted to use these roof vents as they do NOT allow any airflow. A1+, like some other companies use laborers from another state to finish the roof as fast and as possible. And of course they don't speak English which makes it difficult to communicate any issues. Additionally, they did NOT put in Braun vents for the bathroom vents as they should have. They would have made more money from the insurance company. Strongly encourage anyone needing a roof to go elsewhere. I would recommend to NOT do business with A1+ Roofing and Siding. Customers should not have to make calls 6 years later to address issues with a roof replacement when it should have been done correctly the first time!

The only customer with that name appears to have had work completed in 2020, nearly six years ago, with no service calls or concerns reported since. We also want to clarify that your review references “A1+ Roofing and Siding,” which is not our company. We are A+ Roofing & Siding Co. There was a different company with a similar name in the past, and we want to make sure feedback is directed accurately. Regarding your concerns: We install complete Owens Corning roofing systems so our customers receive full manufacturer-backed warranties, not minimum standard installations. In your case, we also upgraded the shingles beyond what insurance covered to provide a higher-quality finished product. The ventilation products we install are industry-approved and designed to properly balance intake and exhaust for the home. To clarify one point specifically: Broan (often misheard as “Braun”) manufactures roof caps used for bathroom exhaust fans, which are non-powered termination points for ductwork. These are not attic ventilation systems and are not interchangeable with the type of ventilation used to properly ventilate a roofing system. Insurance scopes also do not specify brands for these components, and we are always happy to install specific products if a customer requests them. In addition, we do not install bathroom vents, as that would need to be hired out to a plumber/electrician. We also want to address the comments regarding our crews.   We had them re-roof our house nearly 5 years ago. Everything was fine until the snow and ice we had in January. Unfortunately, the roof sprung a leak and caused a significant amount of damage. Long story short ... A+ called it an 'Act of God'. The sun rising and setting is also an 'Act of God', but they didn't care to hear that. If you're looking for a company that stands by their work, this is not the one for you.

  Tracy, i sympathize with your situation, however, we never avoid any issues and certainly don't pass blame. You emailed us asking us on a Saturday night about a leak and asked if we would come out to take a look, our associate called your husband Randy and went there immediately on Monday. He reported back that everything looks fine on the roof and was due to ice dams as to what caused the leak. Our area had record snowfalls within 2 days and a ton of people (that weren't our customers) were experiencing leaking. We sent over The National Weather report with a link that explains ice dams and how it causes roofs to leak as well as ways to help prevent this from happening again. The "Act of God" phrase isn't one we came up with, this was termed this way by Weather Service as well as shingle manufacturers to describe the act. As you mentioned, the roof was fine for 5 years, which if a roof is going to leak due to install error or material failure it would have leaked after the first rain once completed let alone 5 years later. I apologize if maybe this wasn't explained properly by our associate but Randy said he understood so we were confused by this review.   We contracted with this company and was disappointed. After 4 months of little to no communications and falsely promised timely work we had to find another company

We have added policies and software to get better. There are several good companies in the QCA and we're glad you found one that could assist you.

  A+ roofing Mike Chandler came to give us a quote on roof. He contacted our insurance company and bullied and degraded our female adjuster. When he realized he wasn't going to get his way he never contacted us. He lied and gave us the run around and then we never heard from him again.

  At first they were very helpful. They came out to assess recent storm damage to see if it merited a claim on my insurance. I received a call that the work would be extensive enough based on my deductible. So I filed a claim and had them come out again thinking he would explain to the insurance adjuster the issues he found that needed to be resolved. When the adjuster came, A+ just stood there and didn't say anything to the adjuster. I was expecting him to vouch for me, and he did nothing. The report came back that they were only going cover the front half of the roof, which was unacceptable because there was damage on the back roof and the shingles wouldn't match and be 15 years different in age. I asked A+ to come out again to get more evidence of this, and they said they would bring shingles out to show that they wouldn't match. I was pleased until they didn't come like they said they would. They told me on Wednesday, they would be there Friday, but on the following Thursday, they hadn't come. They apologized, and said they would be out soon. They never ended up coming, and they never called me back, ever. I decided to look for a different roofer who found damage in the rear face of my roof and got everything covered from my insurance. It was the missed damage they found, lack of communication on my behalf for the insurance, and the multiple missed appointments that merit this single star.

  Sorry this happened Chris, as you mentioned we were out there a few different times so it wasn’t for lack of trying for you. Also, we didn’t say anything to the adjuster as far as arguing with him because thats not how we operate, and the adjuster said he would have to send it in being he didnt want to get in the attic to see if there were broken rafters. I can assure you we wouldn’t have went there a few times for you to have another contractor get the job. Again, I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

  I called the two weeks ago to get an estimate and they called back told me they would send someone out to look at my roof . That didn't happen so I figured they have time to call me back to discuss the roof or come out to look at it so be it. I will find company that can do the estimate and hopefully the job.

  A+ Roofing is a great company to deal with. I called 11 company's the day my tree branch fell on my roof and only James at A+ Roofing came out with in an hour to cover my roof from the tree branch that fell and caused leaking. James was great to work with as he helped with the estimate and photos for my insurance and helped me after my insurance company did there estimate wrong with measurements. The guys that worked on my roof were awsome and quick and cleaned up everything and you cant tell they were here. The crew was awsome and I cant thank James enough helping me and my family in our hectic time. I will be calling them again to get gutters and new siding because how much they helped me. Great customer service and a great company all around

  Fantastic work! They were able to get the new roof installed in half a day! Crew was great with the install and clean up.   When our roof started leaking, A+ roofing responded promptly, provided a fair quote, got to work quickly, and did a great job on the repair. James, the project manager, was in touch throughout and made sure the work was done to spec on the night the crew finished the job.

  We had a large tree branch crash into our backyard, damaging our gutters and siding, reached out and I heard from Steve the same day I inquired and he was able to come out within two days.   Friendly, professional, informative, and punctual! Steve and his crew were fantastic to work with from start to finish. They kept me informed throughout the entire process, showed up when they said they would, and did outstanding work repairing my roof. I highly recommend Steve and his team to anyone needing roofing work. 10/10 great job!
