After verbally stating to me that they would install stow stops on my roof, when I went to the property there was none. After following up with 705 roofing, they said that they would install the snow stops. I called to follow up 5 times between September and December, each time Adem told me that he was getting supplies, would get there ASAP etc. Now, my number is either blocked or they have changed their business number. I have emailed them to no avail. Extremely disappointed. If this wasn't enough, there was cigarettes all over our property and our neighbours were concerned about the lack of safety procedures being followed.

  Reply from the business

Thanks for the feedback Trudie. We are sorry to hear you weren't happy. We were at your property for a total of 3 days installing your new metal Roof. We had to replace all the plywood and it wasn't an easy job. I have photos of the work being done and I can assure you that safety equipment was worn. As for the cigarette butt's that were found, it's possible that they were from the other trades that were there. At the end of everyday we clean everything that was caused by our guys. My crew doesn't throw cigarette butt's as it is a fire hazard. Cigarettes are smoked on break and disposed of in a can or coffee cup. Clean up is always done 100% As for the snow stops they weren't in the contract or the work order. When the guys went to install them there were other snow stops installed. We apologize for the miscommunication.

Very disappointed that they did not show up 4 times to scheduled work days. After a month of waiting I had to hire someone else. If you hire this firm make sure you get a committment.

  Reply from the business

Hi Gord. I'm sorry you feel this way. As we discussed I tried to fit you in when I could. We are booked up for the next 3 months. We didn't set a solid day as I didn't want you to wait 3 months. I tried to fit you in last week but needed another helper. I don't feel that a 1 star is justifiable. I wish you luck.

Started the job as a standard metal roof. Once the roof was opened up they realized it would be a full rebuild. They ended up changing all the wood out and even did double trusses to make sure it was solid. It was a huge amount of work but they got it done and it looks absolutely amazing. It took longer than they thought it would but they didnt stop until it was done. It's a beautiful standing seam roof that we actually have neighbors taking about how nice it is! Couldn't be happier.

Hi James, thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a detailed review! Working on a historic home built in 1886 always comes with unique challenges, but our priority is ensuring the structure is safe and built to last another century. While uncovering the need for a full rebuild and double trusses was unexpected, we are thrilled that the final standing seam metal roof looks so amazing and has the neighbors talking. We truly appreciate your patience and your trust in 705 Roofing!

Adem and his crew were amazing to us here in Stayner. They went above and beyond to ensure we had the best price and quality of work. Adem is super passionate, extremely intelligent and knowledgeable when it comes to roofing and client care. They really went the extra mile and take complete accountability for their actions. We had another quote from a different company that would have charged us 50% more than Adem, when he arrived at my home he took me up on the roof and explained everything clearly as to what was wrong and ensured that I understood all the work that needed to be completed. He was very transparent with how much things would cost. I can 100% say that we couldn’t have gotten anyone better than 705 roofing. If you need someone reliable, and expert in their trade and just an all around amazing guy, definitely go with Adem and you won’t be disappointed!!

Adem and his crew are true roofing professionals. We added a two story addition to our existing one and a half story building. Having an existing sloped roof butt up against the wall of the new building created roofing challenges, one that the original roofers on the job could not handle. Although they tried three times to fix it, our roof continued to leak. Luckily, our contractor called in Adem who arrived the same day! Adem and I went up on the roof and immediately, Adem pointed out the errors in the previous roofer’s (AM Roofing) methodology. Adem and his crew then went to work to redo our roof the right way. They worked diligently and thoroughly and created what I think is the battleship of roofs! No more leaks through ice and snow coming and going. Absolutely outstanding! Thanks Adem!!

Ian, thank you so much for the incredible review. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad we could step in, identify the issues quickly, and get everything done properly the right way. Proper installation and attention to detail are what make the difference, especially where new construction meets an existing roof. It was a pleasure working with you, and we’re happy to hear everything has held up perfectly through the ice and snow—no leaks is always the goal. If you ever need anything in the future, we’re just a call away. Thanks again Ian! Adem & the 705 Roofing Team

Some home improvements are about appearance. Others are about making a decision you'll appreciate for decades. Installing a metal roof is both. Property owners across Thornbury continue choosing metal roofing because it delivers exceptional durability, energy efficiency, and a clean architectural finish. 705 Roofing installs every system with careful planning and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring dependable performance in every season. If you're looking for a roofing solution that requires less maintenance while standing strong against Ontario's weather, metal roofing is a practical investment that continues paying off long after installation.3 hours agoCall now
