  Ollie and his team are very hard and fast working professionals. Our detached garage was in dire need of a new roof, Ollie and his team arrived early before 7am and had a brand new shingle roof on with all the old material cleaned up and hauled away by 1pm the same day. I highly recommend this company for all roofing needs.

  One of the best experiences I ever had dealing with a contractor of any sort!! Ollie and his crew came at 7:30 had my roof on by noon. Covered area with tarps to protect landscaping and catch debris,nails,etc.from getting in the yard. Very very professional and extremely polite. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! UPDATE January 9th 2026. I had a wind turbine blow off my roof about a month ago. I attempted to fix it that day, thought I had, but I knew it was temporary fix. This morning I went to McDonald's at 5 am. Winds were quite strong and sure enough wind turbine was in the front yard. Rain was also in the forecast. I got the ladder out and proceeded to get on my roof and saw that the turbine was beyond repair. Mind you, I am 66 yrs old with knee and hip replacement and my days of getting on the roof are pretty much over. I went to Lowes and I was like I will call Ollie at 5 Star. This is at 7:30 am. I explained the situation and Ollie said he would replace it for me!! He came at 10:45 and at 11:15 he was done!! I cannot express my appreciation and admiration for such a good person and business owner. By far the best business I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with!! If you have any roofing problems, this is the one to call bar none. 5 stars is the perfect name for this business!!

  5 Star Roofing deserves 5 Stars! After receiving a recommendation from a trusted friend, I called Ollie and explained the leakage our tenant was seeing in our rental property. He advised he would swing by and check out the roof that same day and contact us back. He contacted us back, gave us an outstanding estimate and said he would even take care of a nest of wasps that had made a home close to the roof. Initially he said it would be a week and a half to two weeks but was able to fit us in within the following week after contacting. The work needed was going to cost us double from an estimate we received from a company in Lexington. Impeccable customer service, roof looks amazing, we will certainly be recommending 5 Star and using them again for any of our roofing needs! 5 Star Roofing is a small town gem! Thanks a ton, Ollie!

  My experience with 5 Star Roofing was first-rate. Ollie responded quickly to my request for a quote. The price he quoted was very reasonable compared to other contractors I contacted. He brought a variety of samples of shingle colors to choose from and explained the process of replacing my roof. Ollie and his team arrived on time, installed the roof, and cleaned up when finished.   We live in a townhouse and they were doing some work on our neighbors roof. They came by and said we noticed you are missing a few shingles and they have a few spare and offered to fix it free of charge. Was blown away by this kind gesture. Have been very respectful and cleaned up any debris that fell. If they would do this for a non customer I’m sure they go above and beyond.

  One year ago this week, I handed over $30,000 to a local contractor, money I scraped together as a single mom, nearly half a year’s salary—from my insurance claim and a bank loan that had to get to be able to fix our home. It was my first time taking on a big home project, and I trusted them. They had done small projects for me before, they came recommended by my insurance company and even helped me file my claim and meet with the adjuster. I thought I was making the right choice. I was wrong. That $30,000 was supposed to pay for a new roof and critical structural repairs to keep our home safe. Instead, the contractor took my money and left me with nothing. Weeks would go by without a response. When they did answer, it was excuse after excuse. No work started. No start date. No proof they had even ordered materials. I waited, I begged for answers, I sent email after email. Finally, I had to pay an attorney to send a demand letter—and they still ignored me. For over a year now, I lived under a leaking roof, watching the damage get worse, feeling helpless and betrayed. Then today, 5 Star Roofing stepped in. They couldn’t take on the whole project, but they did something the other contractor never did—they showed up and actually helped. They made temporary repairs for free to stop the water from coming in, gave me a referral, and treated me with kindness and respect. They didn’t have to, but they did. And I am beyond grateful. If you ever need a roofer, 5 Star Roofing the company to call!

  5 Stars is not enough for Ollie and his crew. From the initial phone call to the final handshake, our project was handled with professionalism and kindness. We were informed every step of the process and left with an incredible product. The service was top notch and there was no trace of the work left over (other than a roof that doesn't leak anymore). I don't expect to need anymore roofing services soon, but 5 Star will be my only reccomendation to anyone searching.

  Ollie and his team did an excellent job replacing my roof in 2018. I had a minor issue where the ceiling had a small water stain in 2024. Ollie did not hesitate in assuming the responsibility and quickly fixed the suspect leak area. During the repair he discovered condensation coming from a bathroom fan exhaust which could have been the source of the stain. Again, Ollie took responsibility and fixed my problem, I would recommend 5 Star Roofing without hesitation.
