  Got my contract with 5 star roofing to redo my roof on June 10, 2025. Then they did not come complete the work until August 22, 2025. And that was after multiple failed attempts of them telling me they were coming on a day and never showing up, I had to call and ask why there was no communication, only answer I got was that they got stuck at another job. But why did I have to call to get that communication? Then after the work was done I came home from a work trip to hundreds and hundreds of nails coming through my ceiling, after the project manager was told at least 3 different times from myself and at least 3 different times from my wife that we don not have an attic. So it was then agreed that 5 star roofing would fix my ceiling for no charge and then I would pay them after that was done. Well....here we are December 2, 2025 and I still have all those nails coming through my ceiling with no communication on when they are coming to fix it. They were supposed to come today, but it is 12:05pm on December 2, 2025 and there is no one in my house fixing a ceiling. I do not want to deal with them anymore, I wish there was a 0 star option and we will be reporting them to the better business bureau. For your sanity do not ever use this company. Here is an update to the previous review: The nails that were coming through our ceiling previously have been fixed as of December 19th 2025. The plan that was made to fix the ceiling was great, however it was not executed to the best of their ability. At a glance it looks great, but when you really examine it you begin to notice flaws. For example: the seams between some of the boards are very wide and noticeable, some have been filled with a bad caulking job, and others are just not filled. Then for some reason they decided to use two different colored trims right next to each other, one is grey and the other is white. We do want to clarify several important points for accuracy and context. First, regarding the ceiling repairs: we invested over $5,500 of our own funds to fully correct the issue at no charge to you. From the start, it was communicated to us that repairs could be completed during the winter months, which is why the work was scheduled and completed in December. At no point was the repair ignored or abandoned. Second, on December 2nd specifically, no exact arrival time was ever confirmed. We were still planning to come out that day, and there was no missed appointment tied to a committed time window. Third, after the ceiling work was completed, we asked multiple times if everything was to your satisfaction. Both you and your wife stated that it “looked great” and that you were happy with the outcome. During the follow-up call, the cosmetic observations were discussed, and it was communicated that no additional corrections were being requested at that time. Despite that, when concerns were later raised, we still requested photos to review and address anything that may have been missed. At no point did we refuse communication or dismiss the feedback. We understand that projects involving unforeseen issues can be frustrating, and we genuinely worked to resolve this situation in good faith, at our expense, and with flexibility on billing. While we respect your right to share your experience, we stand by the fact that we took responsibility, corrected the problem, and confirmed satisfaction at multiple stages. We appreciate the acknowledgment of our effort and professionalism on a personal level, and we wish you the best moving forward.

  Doesn’t pick up phone or return calls for repair work. Especially since I specifically call because they list themselves as a 24/7 operation.

  Derrick was onsite as soon as I called for estimate. Project manager was there frequently during the process. Workmen did an excellent job during the shingling and cleanup was meticulous. I’d recommend this company because of their personal on site presence throughout the process.

  I had roof damage to my roof,had some one come and look last fall ,said they would come and fix it,still waiting, called 5 Star roofing and they were here that afternoon, got a quote from them,half of what the other company wanted ,was super happy with the job,,they came back in a week to do the work ,l was super happy with 5 Star roofing.   We had a large amount of shingles blow off our roof recently. Knowing there still maybe snowfall coming or rain I had to call someone. I got 5 Star’s business card from my insurance broker. Called them that afternoon and they showed up within a hour and put on a protective cover on the roof. From there they took care of us for the rest of the repair. They did an amazing job. Fast, courteous, and professional. Their crew came on the very next set of good weather and had the whole roof done and all cleaned up in two and half days. No mess left behind and no issues with anything. I highly recommend 5 Star for your roofing needs.

  5 Star Roofing did an amazing job replacing our roof. They had to work quickly due to surprise rainstorm and got the job done! Everybody was polite, explained what they were doing, were patient and answered all my questions. They even left the area cleaner than when they started.   I worked with Derick and Jason to have a new roof installed on my house. I found both to be very thorough and professional. I was given an exact price and a description of what would be done. I had an approximate date the work would be done and was contacted with a date. All supplies were delivered the day before and the complete tear off and replacement was completed in one day. I am very pleased with the work that was done and working with Derick and Jason. I highly recommend 5 Star Roofing.
