  I agree with a commenter from a year ago who also left Your Vision a one-star review. My own experiences over the last year indicate that this reviewer's concerns regarding transparency, price inflation of 60 percent or more, and aggressive, harassing tactics all still appear to be the case . Last October, Your Vision performed what was, in my opinion, a mediocre carpet installation. They insisted on payment in cash multiple times within three days of completion, yet they still have not provided a receipt for this invoice. Payment was made before I could visit the property to see the work. Despite multiple attempts afterwards to get clarity on a vague invoice issued, they have not provided me with the name of the carpet manufacturer or the square footage they installed. At the same time of carpet replacement, YV mentioned electrical work was needed and stated they could handle it; job was completed but have not confirmed if they did the work themselves or if it was subcontracted out to an electrician. Between the time payment and visiting the property, Your Vision tried to sell me a new HVAC system on account of warm air not coming out of the vents. Unclear if they intended to replace the unit themselves or subcontract it out, but their price was 2x what bids from other HVAC companies have been. And during inspecting carpet job it was apparent warm air was not blowing as a result of the residents not setting up their account with the gas company (it's a gas heat system). A plumbing issue arose over the winter, and the property's tenant called Your Vision. Another vague invoice was sent followed by demands for cash payment within three days of the invoice. Because this work was not authorized, I had a number of questions for Your Vision. They did not respond well to questions and payment in full being immediately made. They refused to answer questions about the hours billed, materials used, whether the work was performed by them or subcontracted out to a plumber,

  Think twice before hiring unprofessional people. Countless red flags! -Their communications are fishy and vague. -They claimed that they got me a partial insurance payment, and demanded I sign the insurance checks to them immediately without a clear contract. -The contract they finally provided would’ve allowed them to keep the entire amount paid by insurance without replacing a single piece of siding in the case they don’t get paid what they asked for from insurance. -Also, it gives them the right to “renegotiate scope and pricing” with and if I don’t agree to renegotiated terms they also get to walk out without replacing my roof and siding and keep that entire down payment. -They asked for 53K while an established, local, 75+ year old, family owned business with a much superior product/warranty asked for 32K. Then they had the audacity to flip out and harass me after I refused to hire them!!!

  I can’t recommend YVR Roofing LLC highly enough, especially BJ, their Operations Manager and Co-Founder. I’m so impressed, I might get a little long winded here. I was referred to BJ by a neighbor after I noticed a potential issue with my roof. From the very first interaction, he was responsive, professional, knowledgeable, and extremely thorough. He came out promptly, completed a comprehensive inspection, clearly explained what he found, and provided the documentation I needed to make an informed decision about initiating an insurance claim. Once the claim was filed, BJ took the lead as point of contact with the insurance adjuster (keeping me on CC) and worked directly with her to coordinate her own inspection and all subsequent communication. He knew exactly what needed to be documented, how the damage should be presented, and how to navigate the process effectively. His persistence and expertise ultimately paid off, and I ultimately received full coverage for a complete roof replacement. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that, had I tried to go head-to-head with the insurance company on my own, I would have struggled to overcome the familiar playbook of discouraging claims, denying or limiting scope, delaying decisions, and minimizing what should be covered. BJ knew how to navigate every challenge they presented. Bottom line: don’t try to tackle this process on your own when you can have someone like BJ in your corner. Once the claim was approved, I was immediately placed on YVR’s production schedule. The crew arrived exactly when promised, completed the work efficiently, and left me with a beautiful new roof. Just as impressive, they cleaned up so thoroughly that I couldn’t find so much as a roofing nail left behind. What impressed me even more was BJ’s commitment to doing the job the right way.   Jonathan was our main guy helping us through getting a new roof. He was absolutely amazing following up with insurance and showing up on site each time the third party insurance adjuster came out. He didn’t let them dismiss the storm damage that was visible to his experienced eye and we were able to get the majority of our roof replace with insurance money. The work they did was quick and clean. We have a dog and a backyard so we didn’t want any straggling nails that could hurt her and they kept everything clean and tidy. Did a fantastic job and the new roof has helped so much with the this hot summer. Highly recommend using this company!

After discovering hail damage on our roof, gutters, and screens—which unfortunately led to some internal water damage—the team stepped in and handled everything seamlessly. ​Navigating insurance claims can be incredibly stressful, but they completely took the pressure off our shoulders. They helped us coordinate the entire process, including the replacement of our roof, gutters, and screens, as well as the interior drywall repair and painting. They even managed the removal and reinstallation of our solar panels without a single issue. ​Everything looks amazing, and the entire process was incredibly smooth.
