  We are sorry you feel that way. We have tried our best to be open and transparent with you. We have record of sending a message letting you know we plan to do your job on 3/18 weather permitting. However the job before yours took longer than expected so we didn’t make it out to your project until 3/19 and unfortunately we failed to update you, I apologize. The original estimate states that the original price was to remove only 1 layer of shingles and each additional layer would be and extra $30 per Sq per layer. When we started the removal process we discovered 2 additional layers for a total of 3 layers, so that was part of the additional cost. The other additional cost comes from decking replacement. It is impossible to tell exactly how much decking will have to be replaced before the roof is removed so our estimate states that 2 sheets are free and anything more will be and additional cost. When we removed the roof we discovered extensive water damage and had to replace 36 ft 2x4, 96 ft of 1x6, and 7 sheets of decking. So hence the additional cost. Again we apologize that you feel like we are being deceitful, we are by no means trying to do so. Hopefully we can come to an agreement and get everything settled.   Leaked in house right after installing - supposably fixed - 7 years later holes in ceiling in 2 rooms where it has leaked , we didn’t know it was leaking until ceiling fell in He came back supposably fixed the water leaks - outside only Still leaks - I put bucket under holes to catch water when it rains- he said he didn’t think he was responsible. Reliable company from another city came and we were told who ever put the roof on was responsible. Now the siding they took off when they fixed last leak has come off where it was not fastened back. Another workman came to look and said flashing was put on wrong. This a mess and Whitts Roofing is not responsible? We thought we could trust them - we don’t have the money to just hire someone and numerous people who have come to see it don’t want to get involved.

  Hi Miss Gale, I am sorry for your bad experience. You are right that it did leak after it was installed, and we did come back and fix it. Six years later (full yr after the warranty expired) after it was out of warranty, y'all reported it that it’s leaked again, One in the washroom, another place in the kitchen, and the third place Was in the downstairs bathroom. And even though it was no longer under warranty we came back to check on it. The one in the washroom it’s coming from around the chimney from where the chimney is settling and pulling away from the house. We explain to your husband, that we are not able to repair the chimney and that it will take an experience Mason to do that, your husband was quite sure it was not the chimney so to please him we removed the siding along the wall and installed new flashing and shingles, and reinstall the siding even though we are not siding installers. We also caulked the open holes around the chimney where it’s pulling away from the house. All free of charge. We determined that the leak in the kitchen was actually the roof and so we repaired it free of charge. The leak in the downstairs bathroom is actually condensation from the fan not running as it should, we even came back when it was raining really hard and got into the attic and there were no leaks. I am sorry that you feel like you have been taken advantage of and that it is a big mess. Our number one goal as customer satisfaction. And we are willing to do whatever we can to ensure our customers are taken care of. However as stated above it is not the roof leaking, it is the chimney, and a condensation problem in the downstairs bath. I am sorry that you are not able to hire the correct people at this time.   Would be nice if guy in their work truck (large gray ford) would get off his phone while driving and stop swerving over lanes making people move out of way because he isnt paying attention

  The company was easy to work with and showed up on time. All items on the quote were installed according to the quote. If needed I would use this company again. Several people I trust recommended that I use this company again.

  Good morning sir. I’m not sure what you’re referring to. Our company has been in business since 2013. I apologize if there was an inconvenience or you were not satisfied with the amount of time it took to get an estimate. And as far as an office goes, yes we do not have a storefront office that is strictly for Roofing. We run several businesses out of the office in Byron, and one of those businesses is the roofing, and another one is selling storage buildings. All of our roofing warehouses and Administrative office is in Byromville, Georgia. The office in Byron is mainly a sales office
