  Came knocking on my door despite a no solicitation sign posted on my front glass door. When I asked the sales rep why he knocked despite my no solicitation sign the rep stated he wasn't soliciting. Two others in his party, rather aggressive and rude.

  This is completely unacceptable and unheard of at Valor. We explicitly train to avoid no solicit homes as it goes against one of our core values of respect. I sincerely apologize that happened. If you could email me and tell me where you live I can find out who was in your neighborhood and have a serious discussion on why they are working on ruining our reputation. Mark@valorroof.com. I would sincerely appreciate the removal of a 1 star review for this reason. As a small business owner that is 100% focused on extreme customer service our reputation is everything. Calling the office and asking for a manager or owner would solve this issue immediately and keep us from a bad review that permanently stains our reputation for such a minor offense.

  I have had my system now for over only a year. Everything was going well. However, there recently was a system malfunction that I myself investigated as the system seemed to be producing energy below the previous month. In looking into the matter, I reported it to Emphase, who immediately sent me the part and explained the business that sold the system to me would need to replace the part. I contacted Valor Roof and Solar, as they sold me the system. This was early July of 2025. It is now the 4th week since all this communication took place. Valor's ability to respond to the matter considering the cost of the system is completely unacceptable. They do not have a system in place to address customer concerns in a reasonable amount of time. I am greatly disappointed at their effort to correct the system malfunction. It is both disappointing and frustrating. As a result, I would highly recommend reconsidering using this business for your solar needs.

  This company does not respect no soliciting signs. They tell you they aren’t selling you anything but it is a lie. Their solicitors are disrespectful and inconsiderate.

  Based on our experience, I strongly advise against purchasing a solar panel system through Valor Roof and Solar. We purchased our system through them, and while the sales team was friendly, the system they sold us has never lived up to the performance expectations they set. It’s important to note that Valor is not the actual solar provider—they hand off installation and support to a third-party company called 1Solar, which has been extremely difficult to work with. During the sales process, Valor assured us of specific energy savings and a guaranteed level of system performance, none of which have materialized. It's also important to call out that Valor did not disclose that the system’s production was only guaranteed to achieve 85% of the original estimates. This should have been made clear from the beginning because it directly impacts the system’s expected return on investment. We only became aware of this lower guarantee after problems emerged, but even with the reduced 85% threshold, our system has still failed to meet the guaranteed levels since installation. Despite more than a month of efforts to seek help, neither Valor nor 1Solar has provided any meaningful resolution. This experience has been incredibly time-consuming, frustrating, and ultimately very disappointing. We had hoped for a positive and lasting investment, but instead have been left with ongoing problems and little support. *Update: Valor Roof has not reached out at all despite their public response here. It's also important to note that I've followed up with them 3 times without any reply. It's not surprising but still very disappointing.

  Valor was out of material and so the roof was delayed by several months. They took the payment in June/July 2023 - told me they want FULL payment because they buy the material - in September they said we are waiting for material - installed the roof at the end of November 2023 - had issues with some shingles (they had to redo a part) so did not get approval of the roof till February 2024! Horrible customer service; almost impossible to get any updates, had to call several times to get basically no information. The roof over the deck has nails that come through showing when sitting in the deck - horrible workmanship - when emailed about this - they NEVER responded. Told my neighbor to never use them. They claim to be a Veteran owned company (my sister was a veteran (Lt. Col US Army) who passed away in 2021) - will never trust this company and do not recommend it to anyone! I called Valor after their response and spoke to David and one of their employees Brandon, came today and cut off the bottom of the nails and patched up the holes. So I do thank you very much for taking care of that. I appreciate the quick response.

  Raman, please let know who you were reaching out to. We have a 24 hour return call policy for the office team. Were you reaching out to your sales person? If there is anything wrong we want to make it right. Our only goal is happy clients. Last year there were wide spread material issues in roofing and getting shingles. Valor doesn't use cheap shingles, only the best. So dealing with the supply company stock of shingles pushed a lot of orders off until late season.   Our onsite manager was great! The work was done in a timely fashion and we are happy with the work. Billing was a disaster. They were uncooperative, terrible with communication, unwilling to work with insurance companies request and slow to respond. Overall would not recommend this company due to the issues we had with the billing department.

  After hail storm in May 2024, Valor knocked on our door asking to do an inspection. Decided to go with them for a roof replacement after seeing pictures and them saying they would handle everything with insurance and solar removal and replacement. This was never the case we had to do all paperwork for insurance and even after giving them the initial insurance payment in June they wouldn't call or solar company even going as far as saying that our solar wouldn't talk to them even after we coordinated with them to sync work dates. Then they went radio silent, no response from phone calls or emails, until October. They scheduled a date in late October but had to push back a week because they didn't talk with solar again. Install happened Nov 2nd IN THE WRONG COLOR! Had to force them to reinstall. Materials were dropped off in driveway before the week of Thanksgiving but install was pushed until the 2nd week in December. After snows cleared in January had to send weekly emails to remind them that they need to have the roof inspection. Didn't get a response from them until February. Inspection was scheduled in late March and after inspection they went back to not responding to any communication. This project took almost a year but with us having to do all the correspondence and begging them to do the job we paid them for. Would never work with them or anyone associated with them ever again.

  Johno at VALOR is AMAZING !! He explained the entire Insurance Process and walked me through everything step-by-step step, so I could actually understand everything. He's been incredible to work with, and I highly recommend him and the VALOR Team! They are True Professionals.

  Honest people and company. Jacob and Johno did a free roof inspection on my house and advised me of the condition and issues without pushing a sale of a new roof. They identified clogs in my drainpipes and found this in my drain pipe. Friendly and honest people, and a great veteran led company!

  Johno and Jacob came over and gave us a full report of our roof. They were very nice and supportive. They even offered to come back over and put some clear silicone to fix some of the hail damage on our roof for no cost at all. I would love to keep working with Valor in the future.

  Jacob and JohnO did an excellent inspection of my roof. They were very professional and pointed out other improvements to the house. If I need a roof repair job, I would consider going to Valor.

  This was the first major repair/insurance claim we have ever made as homeowners. With obvious hail damage, our insurance was not wanting to cover much of anything. Marcus and the Valor team went above and beyond! Marcus was on all our email communication with Allstate and would drive down to Colorado Springs all 3 times Allstate sent a new adjuster to inspect the damage so that he could help point out why the roof needed to be replaced and covered by insurance. This was a 7 month process and Valor was by our side every step of the way. Once approved, the Valor crew was so professional, efficient, and left our roof looking amazing! And even when our insurance made the payment process a bit confusing for us first-timers, Valor was there to help out as well. We absolutely loved our experience with Valor and especially Marcus! Thank you so much!

  They sent a full crew to complete the project in one day. Work crew was experienced, courteous, and cleaned up during and after job. Nick was the project manager and he did an excellent job of running the crew. We are please with the final results. Love our new roof!

  Valor is the best!! I worked with Vinnie and Marcus to get my roof inspected after a hail storm. The inspection is completely free and they showed me pictures of the damage that was done that needed to be dealt with. They called my home insurance company on my behalf and took care of all the paperwork and dealings with insurance. I paid my insurance deductible and Valor took care of the rest! Got me a brand new roof that makes my house shine! I highly recommend them if you need a new roof or if you just want an inspection of your roof after a hail storm or some kind of natural disaster (they keep increasing). Vinnie and Marcus were a pleasure to work with. They are straight-up and honest and they are a one-stop-shop. You do not have to be on the phone with insurance all day in order to get repairs done. Highly recommend working with Vinnie and Marcus specifically so ask for them when you call!
