  This is an unethical company. They were subcontracted to perform exterior work including wall and roof repairs. Facially, the work looked okay upon completion, but many issues with it came to light over the next couple years. The first issues realized very quickly were flood lights they installed that did not work, and a bathroom fan they installed with uninsulated hot wires exposed in the attic. The company was unable to be contacted and the general contractor had to fix their mistakes himself. Since that time, siding they installed has started to fall off in two locations. Additionally, a major reason the roof repair was to properly ventilate the attic, as its previously inadequate ventilation system resulted in mold growth inside the attic. Within a couple years after the repair, the attic was filled with mold again. I was actually able to get ahold of Jorge this time and he came out to look at it. He acknowledged the mold regrowth was significant and due to the attic still being inadequately ventilated. He admitted they should have installed baffles in the soffits and a powered fan in a gable vent. He advised he was going to look in to materials needed and his schedule and get back to me to set up a time to fix the previous repairs. Then he blocked my number and the general contactor's number.

  Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. While it is never easy to see a 1-star review, we do understand your frustrations and want to clarify our role in this project. Underdog Roofing was subcontracted to complete the siding and roofing portions of the job. When we began work on the siding we discovered widespread rotted sheathing caused by lack of maintenance. We replaced all of the compromised sheathing to ensure the new siding system was installed properly. For the roofing, we replaced every piece of decking that showed visible deterioration from the exterior. It is important to note that the attic space above the area we working on is practically inaccessible, as it has been built over an older roof. Also, no mention of any interior mold was made to us when the project began, in fact I wasn’t made aware of the mold until I came out afterwards when you called me to come out. Baffles were not part of our contract, and while we recommended additional ventilation solutions such as a solar attic fan, that recommendation was declined by the General Contractor. To improve ventilation, we installed ridge vent and soffit. When you reached out with concerns, we responded immediately and returned to the property. There was no mention of any fallen siding when I was there but would have been the perfect time to tell me. At that point, your General Contractor instructed us to leave the matter for him to handle, as it fell outside our scope of work. Since then, I have not received additional communication from you or your General Contractor, and neither number is blocked. Regarding the bathroom vents and exterior lighting: Underdog Roofing did not install these items. Those were completed by another contractor hired directly by your General Contractor. While we are familiar with that company, they are not affiliated with or representing Underdog Roofing. Our specialty is roofing, siding and exterior systems-not electrical or mechanical work.   I liked how they were straight to the point , the quote for the work was itemized. They finished it quickly and kept me updated on the whole process. Everything was cleaned up way better than I expected. Definitely will be having them do future work for me .

  I highly recommend going with underdog roofing! They were so helpful and easy to work with! They were very nice about working with me on my insurance claim!

  Jorge did a small job for us on a flat roof section. He was super communicative, easy to work with, knowledgeable and reasonable price!! Overall would recommend Underdog!

  Jorge and his Underdog crew saved my contract from falling through and allowed us to still close still on time! Im a realtor and was representing both sides of the transaction and there were a lot of moving parts with this contract, one of the main things being a giant whole in the roof and an fha buyer. I scheduled out the contract longer than usual because I needed a roofer to get in before the appraiser did so that way there wouldn't be any issues. I had a different roofer that I thought I could trust but he nearly sabotaged the deal. I couldn't find any other roofers to get the job done in the super short and last minute time frame I needed, until I got in contact with Jorge. We got the work order signed Thanksgiving day, he got his crew in there the next day and flawlessly completed by Saturday, with the appraiser getting there on Sunday to a freshly done roof with no gaping hole to see. Im honestly glad that the first contractor flaked because then I wouldn't have had the opportunity to see just how awesome Jorge and the underdog crew really area. From here on out all of my roofing referrals will be handled by Underdog Roofing.👍

  Underdog is my go-to roofing company hands down! They are always so fast, professional and they EXPLAIN everything to me very patiently and thoroughly. I always put my trust in them to help me and the clients that I serve. Thank you guys!
