  A tree fell thru my roof they came and redid the roof but didn't fix anything else they just screwed a 2 x 4 the the broken truss and didn't even fix the holes in the roof just shingled right over them ...this is unacceptable for any business the worse part is that it was being paid by insurance and they were probably getting top dollar for the repairs

  So unprofessional. They think it’s okay to leave this mess overnight and that it is okay to work until 9pm.

  We were asked to leave before we could finish for the day. The roof was 3-layers, with 2 sections of the roof having 4-layers. As a result, there was a significant amount of debris to clean-up. Everything would have been cleaned-up, & organized for the night, but you abruptly asked us to leave. Also, It was not 9pm as you indicate in your review.

  Original review (posted in 2019) Too cheap to pull a permit, too cheap to do even a half-a[x]ed job. Roof they put on leaked. Said they weren't responsible for sky lights. Flashing also leaked around a brand new fan vent put at the same time as new roof. Left nails in yard and did not clean up their mess. Owner mansplained condensation to my girlfriend,a asked if we had a humidifier (we don't) and said that condensation caused the steady drip of water inside the house and attic that caused over $4000 of damage. After saying that skylights weren't part of the roof, they caulked around flashing of skylights and left. Leak continued and tried to go to their office, which doesn't actually exist- it's a hole in the wall door between two stores. Had a different company redo their embarrassment of a roof and they continue to deny responsibility. RESPONSE TO OWNER'S COMMENT BELOW: They did not pull a permit, we contacted the city and asked. Owner of advanced roofing said the skylights did not need to be replaced and when they leaked, Advanced Roofing claimed they were not part of the roof and that they were not responsible for them leaking. A fart fan vent also leaked on the other side of the house because they did not properly flash that either. Cut the hole myself and handed the roofer the 4" roof vent. (I do HVAC for a living). By entire roof, I meant the shingles. Mess was found in yard after the snow melted (roof was done at the end of winter).

  Unfortunately, you are reviewing the wrong company. We have never taken money upfront in our 36 years in business. We've also been under the same family ownership since 1984 & Mike Smarr is not one of our owners.

  To begin, we have followed-up on the customers request every time they have called, whether we felt it was a legitimate problem or not. The pipe boot was actually replaced. There were two pipe boots replaced. The homeowner thought the actual pipe was getting replaced, not understanding what a pipe boot actually is. We acknowledge there were a few low nails, but that was brought to our attention before our final inspection & would have been addressed regardless. The last time we were out, however, we had to draw a line. The homeowner wanted the decking changed where we had previously replaced wood at all of the vent holes, because the color on the side of the decking was a different color than their existing decking when viewed from the attic. It was argued that the color on the side of the decking indicates its thickness & we used the wrong decking, despite there being no evidence of that on the surface of the roof. In fact, all decking manufacturers use their own coloring system for their decking. There is no industry color coding. The homeowner acknowledged the decking looks good on the surface, but wants it changed anyway. We used the correct decking, but the homeowner refuses to understand.

  In the process of a remodel but I needed the roof done before any other projects and Advanced Roofing took care it in a quick and timely manner. Quality and Price was A+. Will never use another company for future roof projects. Highly recommend.

  I am very impressed with the quality of work— we had a very damaged roof, and they took amazing care replacing damaged wood. I would recommend them again, but I will note it can be hard to get a hold of them. Just be patient, they’ll come through!

  Advanced replaced our roof. I have never seen employees work so hard and so long doing roofing. They were courteous and respectful. They kept the property clean and worked very hard to ensure all nails were picked up. The roof looks great and I would recommend them to anyone needing a roof. My husband and I have put on 4 roofs in our younger days and he was worried they might not do it right. He was very pleased with the work.

  Good company and very satisfied with their work but they are really hard to pay. I have tried to call them when I have available time from my work each day but they never answer their phone and paying them via credit card was nearly impossible. But otherwise they do quality work fast.

  My wife and I used Advanced roofing at our bay house. Their name says it all they are advanced. They completed 50 year shingles and put in 5 sky lights and came in at less than half the cost of other quotes. Advanced also did a great job cleaning up after they did our roof. My mom and dad have always used them too, and we have all been happy and glad we went with quality Advanced Roofing.
