  Jason was fantastic to work with from start to finish. He was incredibly responsive, provided a detailed and accurate quote, and communicated clearly throughout the entire process. He arrived right on time, completed the work thoroughly, and paid great attention to detail. He also took the time to suggest some improvements for our attic ventilation, and we've already noticed a positive difference.   UHS replaced my shingle roof and patched a flat garage roof 6 years ago in 2019. Here's an updated review I wrote back then for Homestars. The TLDR version: the price & quality were good and Jason stood behind the work, fixing two problems at no charge. I considered only two companies for the job: UHS and one other highly-rated one from Homestars. In the end, I went with UHS because my friends, whom I trust, used them and because UHS was willing to give me a guarantee for the flat roof while the other company would not. They showed up when they said they would and were super-fast, finishing by around 4:00 pm on the same day. Six years later, both appear to be in good shape and I've had only two problems, described below. The garage job was to repair a shoddily done flat roof (by a company now out of business) that has been leaking in one spot for several years. Jason gave me several options and in the end, I opted for the cheapest which was to repair that one spot for just over $1000 and get a 5-year guarantee on no leaks there. The first guy who did the job seemed to know what he was doing but it still leaked when it next rained. Of course, I let Jason know and he promised to send an expert (he said it was the guy who taught him). That guy was incredibly thorough. I didn't expect them to go right down to the wood but that's what they did, replacing the rotten planks and then putting layers on top. I'm very happy with the work done. The garage roof repair obviously turned into a bigger job than Jason had thought but he stuck by his price with no push-back or hesitation, and that's one big reason that I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him to friends. Six years later, that's still holding up well. The second problem occurred last year. During a severe storm, we heard water dripping in. Within a few days, Jason came with his crew and re-sealed a small opening in the flashing at no charge to me and it's been good since then.

  Jason was quick to answer when I called. He came to check right away what needed to done with our eavesthrough. He explained what needed to be done, Jason was easy to talk to and very accomodating to look into my request. What i noticed right away with him is his commitment to deliver a quality and professional service. He won't do the request of client if it jeopardizes the quality of job that he will be doing. Tommy came to do/replace the whole house eavesthroughs. Indeed, Tommy is a great hard working individual and he did a really impressive job. He is really good at what he does and he cares as if it is his own. He also did extra for me that was not discussed prior, but he did the job beautifully. I am really very happy with the outcome if the job. I will for sure highly recommend them to friends and relatives whoever need this type of job.   Jason provided us with a clear and concise written quote outlining all the terms of the agreement. He and his crew just finished a complete re-shingling for us. They arrived bright and early as promised and commenced work. They took great care in protecting both ours and our neighbors premises during the installation. They worked consistently throughout the day and completed it in record time. They were professional and considerate ensuring that we were kept informed and updated of their progress.   Jason and team did an unbelievable job replacing my old leaking roof above my garage! I also had them come back a couple of months later to remove my chimney. Quick and clean and super easy to deal with. Highly recommended

  In need of replacing or repairing roof whirlybird vents, I decided to google roof repairs in my area. The one that stood out for whatever reason was Ultimate Home Services. I called the number and voiced my concern to Jason who agreed to come by on the same day to inspect the problem. Jason not only showed up on time, he had all the equipment needed to repair and or replace the damaged ones as needed, Unlike most contractors, Jason attempted to repair the existing whirlybirds in order to minimize expenses. Having been in the construction trade myself in the past, I can say that this is hardly seen and I THANK HIM FOR TRYING. We ultimately decided to replace both. Jason took some extra time to stick his head into the attic to evaluate the insulation value, took a walk over every single square foot of a very large and very steep 12/12 pitch roof to check fix and seal needing area at no extra charge. All in all, today was a great day, I met someone whose services I will definitely use again and most definitely will refer to family, friends and Real Estate clients.
