The first time I used their service they were great. The second time they were okay and the third time they seemed too busy to make sure the job was done to their best of their ability. I requested a follow-up to check that there are no issues with the roof as when it rains the drip pattern is irregular and to my un-trained eye it looks like there is softening at the corners of the second floor landing. Evan said he would send another person out and that was in June. We have had back and forth exchanges where he was going to send someone for months now. I have been patient, I have been understanding and I have been plesant when communicating. Now, 6 months later and with a little baby at home I don't want there to be any issues. The winter is here and my roof hasn't been addressed and they were paid for full services in June. I can no longer recommend their services if this is how they treat a loyal customer who came back and who sent referrals their way.

We hired Evan from Genesis Roofing in July 2024 to replace the entire roof on our home. Now, less than 8 months later, the roof is already leaking, causing significant water damage to our second-floor bathroom. …

Hello, Thank you for your follow-up. I’ve taken the time to carefully review your concerns, and I appreciate your patience. Regarding your question about warranty coverage, I want to clarify that the roofing materials installed on your home are covered under CertainTeed’s Limited Warranty, and any claims must adhere to their terms. To directly answer your request: on page 4 of the CertainTeed Asphalt Shingle Limited Warranty, under the section titled “Limitations,” it explicitly states the following:” is not covered by the Limited Warranty. This exclusion means that damage resulting from ice damming is not considered a manufacturer’s defect and therefore falls outside the scope of warranty coverage. While I understand you’ve received other opinions, manufacturer warranties vary, and in this case, CertainTeed’s position is clearly stated in their documentation. Based on the signs of the issue, it’s possible that the root cause is related to insufficient attic ventilation or insulation, both of which can contribute to ice dam formation and backup. If you have any further questions or would like to discuss next steps, I’m happy to help. Best regards,

Booked an appointment with them using their online calendar. Also emailed them. No one showed up to do an inspection, and I was never contacted.

Genesis provided us an excellent service from inspection by Raj and Evan to the metal roof replacement by Wes. Wes did a great job, he is professional, patient, and reliable. He communicated politely with me before starting the work and always responded to my questions. The new roof and the eavestrough, downspouts were beautifully installed. Wes also provided minor repairs to the house. He cleaned the waste out each time. I would definitely recommend Genesis and Wes for the roofing job.

we had Ken with Genesis come in and quote a few jobs for us. He is very knowledgeable and honest , takes his time and can see things we thought were structurally ok. His experience with building and construction shows and he is very meticulous with his quotes so there are no surprises later. Ken, you are a breath of fresh air in a world of fake contractors. Thanks for your time and helping us make some very big decisions in moving forward. We highly trust you and your company

We were very happy we chose Genesis Roofing to fix the leak in our flat metal roof. Evan and Raj were quick to come out and assess what was likely needed to be done, and provided a very fair and thorough quote. Flat standing seam metal roofs can be difficult, and Wes who actually did the repairs, was quick and efficient, communicated well and kept me updated — he even sent me pictures of the underlying structure confirming where the leak was and that the work we were having done would actually fix the problem! I would not hesitate to recommend the team at Genesis to my friends and family should they ever require roofing or contracting services!
