I had roof installed by Trahant at the end of the summer they did a great job was very pleased and price was right. But buyer beware. After two months I had rampant mold growth in th attic mind you my old roof was 30 years old and we had them replace some boards do to darkening of the wood. That took 30 years to happen. The issue is vents that are put in each rafter bay. They cost like 1.00 a piece and they didn’t put them back after they took out the boards and said they aren’t needed. Well after much research they are needed Casie we got massive mold growth in two months I had mold remediation expert come out they said the venting isn’t right and they couldn’t even kill the mold Cause it’s embed in the wood. Now the entire front roof needs to be replaced the back is fine because all vents are still there and now trahanr is ignoring phone calls texts saying it’s not there Prb and not willing to do anything. I have an 87 yo living with me and the mold has been so bad for her. I would have normally recommended but run far away from them

Was initially very happy with Trahant, however, I got a leak about 2 years after my install, and when I called Ken, my original point of contact. He immediately said it was not the roof it was the siding. OK ?? I'm like really. how can …

At first they seemed to be good. They sent a huge team and finished my roof quickly. A month later two different contractors were at my house to address insulation and windows and both told me that the roofing job had not been done …

Prior to hiring Trahant, I had heard nothing but good things about them. While initially impressed, the end result was not what I expected. The positives - 1) They came out and replaced my roof the first week of February, when nobody else would 2) Cost was very good 3) Quick and clean job (had almost 20 men on the job) 4) Initial communication was good The negatives - 1) They damaged my new gutters (see photo) 2) They did not install a drip edge on one side of my house (photo with red paint from our old drip edge shows this). On the other side, they bent it 3) The good communication stopped when I called to voice my issues. I had three conversations about the issues with the job with the same rep that gave me the bid and was my point of contact during the job. Each time, he told me they would come out to make the repairs. They never did and I never heard back from them.

I can't emphasize enough how bad these guys are. I've had direct experience with them at my workplace and they left the roof riddled with leaks that they delayed fixing for weeks. Not to mention that wherever they go around town they create disorder by avoiding police details and blocking roads. This morning they used their trucks as barriers to the center of town so cars could not reach the landing (also emergency landing dock) so they could use the road as a loading area to store roofing products. This went on until the police broke it up. Lastly, they take advantage of illegal aliens by giving them practically nothing and making them work long hours.

Good price and the supervisor stays on the job with runners if anything is needed once it is stripped. A large crew pull up and there's about seven or eight people working on stripping etc. and they clean up after! I have a complicated roof and some roofers didn't even call me back after looking at it. My other estimates were higher, Trahants products were of a higher caliber than a higher priced roofer.

Our house was fully renovated - Trahant did the roof. They did an incredible job - but thats not why i'm posting. We had a leak recently - turned out the sub-contractor that did the venting did a poor job (wrong size boot for the pipe, poor job sealing it etc.). Trahant came in within a few days and fixed the poorly done work that the sub-contractor did, no questions asked. Above and beyond!
