Avoid this company! We hired Mark after he promised he could fix our leaking roof and said he guaranteed his work for 2 years. We went with him over other quotes, even though his quote was substantially higher, because he said he was confident in fixing the issue and guaranteed his work. Big mistake. Our roof has continued to leak and he has continuously avoided our texts and calls. Not only has the roof continued to leak, he also tore up shingles and replaced some which looks bad and didn’t even fix the problem. He lacks professionalism and we feel scammed out of our hard earned money. We feel we have no choice at this point but to make this review and try to warn others to not work with this company/Mark.

It seems my review from a while ago was removed. Long story short I hired Top Quality Roofing to replace the roof of a home I purchased. I had the roof replaced while I lived out of state. Part of the quote involved the removal of an old chimney. They removed the chimney however in the process it fell onto the roof and part of it fell through a skylight. This caused three issues: 1. He tried to trick me into paying for a skylight that he broke 2. Since he had already been paid (my mistake), he took a very very long time, about 45 days to get the skylight fixed. 3. When I moved in there was a hole in the fireplace that led to under the home (a child could literally fit through and crawl under the foundation) likely from part of the chimney falling down the chimney hole when it also fell onto the skylight. --- He refused to take ownership of this and claimed it could not have been from part of the chimney falling. I guess the rats in Memphis like to eat cement now then?

I'm a doctor in the Memphis area who had my roof replaced by "Top Quality Roofing" in February 2022. After having the roof replaced I was told by two different contractors there were issues with the roof including rotten wood, which shingle was placed on top of instead of replacing the wood first. I first called Mark Williams (I believe the business manager and/or owner of "Top Quality Roofing") in March 2022 and was told someone would come out to inspect these reports, but no one came. I called back 6/16/2022, and Mark said he would be out "next Wednesday" but no one ever came. I called Mark back 7/2/2022 and he told me he would check with his repair man to see if he had made it out yet (which he hadn't) and he would get back to me, but I never received a call back. I called 7/8/2022 and Mark apologized for not making out and talked about how busy they were and told me this was not how they operated and he would call me by "next Thursday" but if I hadn't heard from him to call him back. I didn't hear back, so I called him on Thursday, and he said he would be out the following day. Finally, he came out Friday 7/15/2022 and said the other two contractors were wrong about some of their claims and in fact they were the ones who had caused some damage (maybe, but now it's a he said, she said, and no one wants to take responsibility). Fair enough. Then when asked about the rotting wood being re-shingled over Mark said, "the insurance company didn't pay for that, and we aren't just going to replace rotten wood out of the goodness of our heart." Which I would have never expected, but I would have liked to have known there was rotten wood that needed to be replaced instead of just shingling over it simply because it's faster and easier to do so than informing the home owner of the damage. My takeaway from this experience is if you want someone who replaces your roof, possibly with a few issues, and doesn't want to return calls or come re-inspect the roof once they've been p

Things sounded promising, Mark did work on my son's old home, so I called him for an estimate on part of my wife's studios cottage soffits, fascia and siding. He was prompt and we agreed on an slightly high estimate to start the following Wednesday. He called and asked if it was OK to start on Saturday because he had a couple of guys lined up for the job. They arrived Saturday morning day before Easter. Promptly tearing the 9-10 old siding panels off. I saw what one man was doing and asked on the procedure. He was taking the nail fin screws away from the window area to get the old wood out which was a good process, installing the new board they were not recessed under the nail fins. It's ok the trim boards will hide it. Ut Oh. Then fascia's we not all replaced, many cuts and pieces made to fit were installed. On one panel where there was a hole for a power line, I asked the man not to cut the hole, I would do it from the inside, well it was cut and was almost 2 inches higher. I will say that they were mad about having to redo it and Mark even hinted that somehow the fault of another are was mine. Needless to say, not very customer service oriented. Sunday Easter morning, they had to come back because I had exposed areas and still trim needed to be installed. It was hurried, shoddy and unprofessional, lacking required trim wood and supplies since stores were closed on Easter. . Many texts were exchanged with Mark. Even to the point Mark asked for a check to be given to his workers so that he didn't have to make a trip way out to Millington. On Monday and Tuesday one man showed up with a helper on Monday only to redo wood and siding with hole in it. They made very good attempts to correct and mostly OK, but overall, not a good job. He painted with paint I supplied the trim and the new siding, I supplied a brush to paint with also, along with 6 1x2's an 1x4 wood for trim. I spoke to Mark and he said he would come out to see the final job and make things ri

Was pretty stunned to find out that my roof had water damage, and was caved in and leaking on the inside. Took a shot in the dark with getting Top Quality Roofing (aka Mark) on the job, and honestly it looks great. Waited to write this review until it rained again just to double check how it would hold up and so far after raining most of the day not a single drop of water on the inside. His pricing is hard to beat. Other contractors will charge double. He will work with you as far as payment goes. Once I have the funds I'll definitely reach out to him again to finish the inside ceiling to wrap it up. Will update after that. Definitely give him a call for your roofing needs.

Inspection of the issue seemed thorough. Explained in detail the problem and what would be done to repair along with cost. Work was done in a timely manner. Roofer was cordial and polite.. I'll know how great the job was after the next big rain.

Excellent, speedy work. Evaluated the repairs needed on a Monday, came back with all the paint and roofing supplies the next day and completed the job that same day. Highly recommended.

Mark contacted me within hours of my request on angi. He came over the next day - on time!- to review the needed work and gave me an estimate that was more than reasonable. We scheduled for the next day. Once again he was in contact with me before arriving on time. He worked so clean and did an excellent job. I'm so happy with his work that I scheduled him for additional work. Top quality is not just his company name - I believe it is Marks mission. Highly recommend!!

I previously had a patio cover built, and the guys improperly installed the shingles causing water sit on the roof and also leak through the roof onto the patio. Top Quality Roofing came through and removed all of the old shingles and tar and replaced it with the proper material for a flat roof. Not one leak since their job. Workers were professional, left the work area like they found, and did a great job. No complaints from them!!

I reached out to Mr. Williams about my roof for repair. He responded very quickly and was out to my home for an estimate promptly. On repair day, Mr. Williams and his crew showed up on time and were very easy to work with. He respected and listened to all of my concerns & expectations. They couldn’t have done a better job!
