  We contacted this contractor for a roof renovation project on our cottage. We communicated twice over a period of a few weeks. During our first contact with my partner, we agreed that he would call us back, which he didn't do. So, I took the initiative to contact him myself. During our second conversation, we agreed that he would come to the cottage to assess the work. On the scheduled day, that very morning, I received a text message informing me that he wouldn't be coming after all. The reasons given were the distance, as well as the fact that I had requested two quotes (one for an asphalt shingle roof and one for a metal roof), which he didn't realize. Yet, the address was known from the start, and one of the requested options was clearly within his area of ​​expertise. This delayed decision cost me several weeks and forced me to urgently resume my search. It should be noted that throughout all our interactions, this person was always polite and courteous. However, I remain disappointed with how the situation was handled.
