  Avoid this classic contract scam at all costs! I entered into an agreement with TJ for a complete roof replacement at an agreed-upon price. However, I was unaware that TJ would accept the price, cut corners on materials, and pass off what he calls a mistake, but is actually a common scam to drain my finances. He deliberately underbid the deal to secure the contract and then tacked on additional charges later to compensate. Furthermore, although the job was supposed to be completed in one day, it stretched on for several weeks. Additionally, he conveniently neglected to include items we had extensively discussed. He once informed me that 7 sheets of plywood were used after the roof was complete, but he ended up magically billing me for 8. I was present for most of the process and can't verify the use of 7 or 8 plywood sheets. To prevent such situations, I strongly advise documenting every detail in writing. If you doubt the authenticity of my claim, you can listen to all our conversations at . I'll even upload the contracts there for your review. It's in your best interest to choose a different contractor.

  I can’t say enough good things about TJ Shingles. Everything from start to stop was first class. I received numerous estimates prior to signing a contract. TJ Shingles was the best estimate dollar for dollar. That quality carried through from the first day his crew showed up. The crew was efficient, professional & accommodating. To say that I was happy with the results doesn’t come close to how satisfied I am. If you want a new roof TJ Shingles can’t be beat. I’m happy to vouch for that. Hands down the best. Rich

  TJ shingles came out and put on a new roof on my garage and house. They did everything in a timely manner especially since I had a leaky roof. His pricing is really good and I even decided for him to come out and put new gutters on for me. I will come back on update more after a few more weeks of enjoying my new roof and when the gutters are done. I appreciate his explanation and help finding issues with my roof and ways for me to solve them. Thank you again Tj. The gutter people can out this Friday. They were very professional and polite. Put up the new gutters and removed the old ones only took the about 3hrs. The only issue is I didn’t get a heads up that they were on their way. Luckily my mom was home. So far since the work has been completed no issues. Thank you again Tj

  TJ was quick to respond. Due to high winds our roof was damaged in Hummelstown and he was able to help us out! Friendly and professional.

  TJ Shingles was an amazing experience from start to finish. We met and he detailed the entire job, came when he said he would and the job was finished in one day. He took pictures of every phase of the job and went over everything. My roof looks fantastic. I would absolutely recommend TJ Shingles for your roofing needs.
