We had David and his crew complete several projects for us, including renovating our laundry room, replacing the trim around our house, and building a new pool deck. From start to finish, they were wonderful to work with. …

We used Ticos Carpentry for another large house project and they were excellent! We had 16 windows replaced and the crew worked hard all day to complete the job in 3 days. The crew was excellent and pleasant to work with in the house all day. The project looks beautiful and we are very happy to recommend them to others.

Driving home one day I noticed a local home having it’s front steps repaired and was impressed by the quality of the work and materials. I stopped and inquired who the contractor was. I gave them a call requesting a quote and with in a day had David onsite. David gave me options on replacing all the current cracked capstone treads with new bluestone. Work started within two weeks, and the job was finished in three days. I was very pleased with the service provided, the new bluestone, and the speed of completion. I will be calling Tico’s again for our next home improvement project.

Tico's Carpentry took care of a leak and repaired the damaged portion of the ceiling that was impacted. The quality of the workmanship was excellent and the clean up after the job was thorough. We also appreciated the professionalism of the staff and the very fair pricing of the job. Highly recommend !

We moved into our new house and were looking forward to doing a lot of renovation (full kitchen and bathroom gut to start), and we pretty quickly felt comfortable moving forward with Tico's. Jorge was great to work with from the start, communicating when his team would be available to do the work, and what to prioritize - throughout all of the work, they worked very closely with us on every step, which we really appreciated. Juan and the entire team did a great job with our kitchen renovations, and they also did 2 bathrooms for us (again all full gut jobs). They also helped fix up other parts of the house that we needed, and all in a timely, professional manner. We're looking forward to working with Tico's again in the future!

In the summer of 2025 I wanted to have the exterior of my house painted. Unfortunately I have asbestos composite shingles for siding; the painter I selected was not willing to work on these and make replacements because they can be difficult to work with… While they are very strong they also have a tendency to crack very easily when being installed. I also needed to remove some French doors and replace them with a single panel Anderson door. This would require a lot of cosmetic framing to be done to make it look good. Ticos did a really amazing job on the entire project. They kept to their schedule, their crew was consistently clean and neat, and the work was exceptionally good. Their carpentry in particular was very impressive; the new door looks amazing and it’s obvious they took great care to make sure it came out that way. The other thing that truly impressed me about the company was a bit more subtle. There was a slight misunderstanding about one part of the project (i.e. whether or not it was covered on the original quote). When they presented the final invoice I sent them a copy of the original signed quote, and there was no fuss and no argument… They simply adjusted their invoice to the original agreed-upon amount without any arguing or negotiating. It was an extremely professional response, and anyone who has worked with contractors in the past knows that not everyone would’ve handled the situation in that manner! I would recommend Tico’s carpentry without reservation. I am hoping to have additional work for them in the very near future.
