  I received a quote from the Roof Doctor on September 26th for a small roof job of $2,132.88. We are upgrading our siding and the siding contractors referred us to the Roof Doctor.  They came out and measured the job and I signed the quote on Oct 4th for that same amount. The salesman said our roof should be done on Tuesday Oct 22.  I had received and sent a few e-mails on Oct 8th, and Oct 10th.  On Oct 21st the day before the start date the guy I was communicating with said he was getting everything reviewed and sent an e-mail at 12:58 p.m.  I responded to a question he had and his next e-mail at 2:32 p.m. said that he believed we had a typo with my estimate and I should give him a call. After responding to his call, I received a new bid and my bid went up to $3,102.06 because they had put a wrong measurement in the bid and they had only really quoted me for half my roof. Managing money and doing big jobs at your place of residence is stressful, but to receive a call the day before a job is supposed to be done saying that your new bid is $969.18 higher than what the bid was actually quoted was hard to hear and frustrating. The Roof Doctor did a great job and I am happy with their work.  I am not happy with the communication and their mistake on the bid.  That was not my fault at all.  I voiced my concern to the manager and the owner.  The owner said it did not make business sense for them to do a job for that cheap.  I wanted to say, it doesn't make money sense for me to pay more for a job than I was quoted either. If you use Roof Doctor in the future, just ask that they make the right measurements on the front side so you don't get a call the day before your work is supposed to start saying you might need to owe more than you budgeted for.

I can tell you first hand we are hustling to get an estimate to everyone that requested one. Please check to see if you have the right company. I looked at your other reviews for the other 2 roofing companies that got 2 star reviews from 30 minutes ago. I am not sure what exactly you are doing leaving 3 companies a bad review that fast but you never called us. Somethings fishy. Please call me direct so I can get to the bottom of this.   The Roof Doctor, located on 2854 South redwood Road suite C4. They did a good job on the roof, but overall very poor experience with the sales staff and owner Rob. They worked on something outside of the standard quote and ended up causing minor damage to the interior of the house. In the end they ended up resolving it, but that was after multiple phone calls and emails from the manager either yelling or demeaning our request. Not to mention, as we walk through the yard, every now and then we end up with a rusted nail from our old roof stuck in our shoes as the clean up crew unfortunately didn't do that great of a job.

  We started with Roof Dr after we had massive hail damage. We were contacted by Rob Fullerton and he was hired to do the job. They did as promised for the first month, then the service went down hill. We are now at over three months and have picked colors and patterns. We have now received a E Mail stating that they can not find enough business are people to do the work. They have plenty of work closer to home so they dropped everyone in town. We did not receive a phone call are anything personal just a email saying they are pulling out. Unbelievable ! I would have expected more from a so called professional business.

  Avoid this company like the plague! There are many ways that this company broke their word, let us down, and manipulated us, but the biggest issues are the following. We hired them to install a TPO roof on our fourplex. The contract said that they would provide a water tapering system so that water would drain off the roof, but instead the roof has two pools that are twenty feet across and four or more inches deep. When there was leaking for months they tried and tried to fix it and never disclosed the pooling. A different roofer finally told us about it. The contract said that they would provide a certified manufacturer's warranty. They never did this and presumably can't do so because of the major pooling. We also paid them to inspect the roof of our other fourplex. They stated that it was TPO and was in good condition, other than needing some sealing around the ducts. In reality it was a PVC roof that had millions of tiny cracks in the PVC and had to be completely replaced within two months of when the Roof Doctor did their sealing on it. This cost us $20,000. If The Roof Doctor had inspected it accurately we could have negotiated that $20,000 with the seller of the property.

  Called three times to set up a time for someone to come over and give me a quote, left three messages, and never once spoke to a scheduler. They had the chance for my business, now I wouldn't call them ever again. If they can't do something as simple as a call back, I wouldn't trust them with anything bigger like the roof over my head.

  I requested an estimate from The Roof Doctor. A few hours later I got an email with an estimate. However, I hadn't even talked to them, nor had they come out and look at my house. If you ask me it seemed very fishy and very unprofessional!

  This team did an amazing job of removing the tar and gravel roof and replacing it with a beautiful roof. They repaired the damage from a tree falling on the roof and damaging it. They were quick and efficient and it is beautiful!

  I have had these guys repair my roof a few times from wind damage and always did an excellent job. So when I needed a new roof, I knew to call them. They were on-time, were very professional, and did a great job. I just hope they are still around in 25 years for my next roof!

  The shingles on our roof are roughly 26 years old and it’s about time we get them replaced. However, there are several other projects that I wanted to complete before we address the roof, and I wanted to know if that was possible, or if the roof was in dire shape and needed to be taken care of now. As a woman, I’ve had many contractors try to take advantage of me by being dishonest. So I usually call five or six contractors to get a bid anytime I do anything on my house. This time, however, the Roof Doctor Was the first and last contractor I called about the condition of my roof. I felt that Chris and his team were honest with me, and bid a fair quote for the repairs we needed done. He let me know that the shingles are OK and probably would last another two years, but we needed to fix a few vents that were leaking. We got the vents taken care of and in a couple years I will be calling him to come out and completely fix the roof. Thank you Roof Doctor and Chris!! 10/10 would recommend.

  I have probably purchased 10 roofs in my lifetime and the most positive experience by far has been with The Roof Doctor, these guys are incredible. Rob and his team did not miss a deadline or detail, everything was perfect. Best roofer in the Salt Lake valley!
