  They do low quality job, and ripping people off. Stay away from these thieves. Additional review: so I contacted the email they left in this review and explain the situation, and they ignored. Great customer service.

  Roof leak. Worker came without proper safety equipment to do a thorough job.Did a quick job at high cost of $600. and roof leaked again in very next rainfall, I left a message to call back twice on what to do and never even had the courtesy of a call back from them! Waste of money.

  I used Taves roofing 3 years ago for a torch on roof repair. They were fast and did a good job. I told myself that I would use them for future jobs as I had bad experience with the company that messed up the torch on roof in the first place. Fast forward to today, I was looking for bvent flashing install, range hood exhaust and cracked plumbing boot replacements. the guys came down twice to scope the job. They were nice and professional. We agreed on the price but they never showed up to do the job. I followed up over a phone call and was told "ill put you in next week", once again, never showed up or call. So that's it. 5 star for the first repair(3 years ago). and 0 star for the 2nd job. Probably wont use them again.

  Last Friday I discovered a leak in my roof resulting in a water drip into my living room through my ceilings drywall. Obviously, this is a serious matter. I chose to contact three roofing companies. One of them was Taves. Their representative assured me that they would try to get someone out to my place over the weekend but at the latest I could expect their work person to evaluate my situation by Monday. It is now Thursday. I did not hear back from them at all. This is extremely unprofessional to say the least. Do not waste your time contacting this company.

  I called to have service performed to fix a specific issue - it is not a rocket science to fix a flashing attachment issue... what I asked and PAID for is very different what I got. They keep putting short-term patches INSTEAD of making a proper fix repair as I requested ...and the pressure to buy a new roof is constant. I had 3 different contractors come have a look at it since, all of whom told me independently that the roof absolutely does not need replacing yet as it has years left in it. Simple fix would take care of the issue. If you want to be constantly sold the new roof and never get what you called and paid for, this is the company to go with -- but don't expect you will get what you paid for.

  Cory is very professional, detail oriented, and cost conscious. For our chimney repair project, Cory and Tim did a fantastic job returning our chimney to a solid and leak proof feature of our heritage home. They addressed issues that were left behind by our roofers, cleaned out the basement suite chimney base and sealed everything up. The cleanup they did to the exterior of our house was also superb.

  Had Cory from Taves out a few years ago for a repair on my chimney, and based on my experience then decided to go with them to have our roof replaced. Excellent communication, timeliness, and professionalism across the board.

  Friendly service and staff did a nice job removing old cedar shakes and installing asphalt in less than 2 weeks. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves, leaving shockingly few nails behind. The work was completed for the price as agreed up front. Highly recommended. (Advice for any roofing job; ask the roofer to check if the chimney needs maintenance.)

  Excellent service for a leaky roof. I called and Cory and Trevor came by to fix and diagnose the leak within 2 hours. Price was reasonable and he was very professional and knowledgeable. This is after hiring another roofer and a roofing inspector, both of whom did not diagnose the issue correctly and charged twice the price. Very grateful to Cory and Trevor for helping us fix our issue so promptly. 6/5 stars!

  We called around to a few chimney companies. By the time Tave's competition called us back, Cory, Tim and Trevor had dismantled 2 dangerously eroded chimneys, repaired 2 roof holes, a wood floor, & concrete floor, and reframed a wall around 2 fireplaces! These guys knew their stuff and work really well together and are fast! Both chimneys were down in 1 day and they would have been done the reframing the following day, had a remediaton company not held them up. Corey met this obstacle with a no problem attitude and got things done! I would recommend Cory and his crew very highly to anyone needing roofing or chimney work.

  We had a small leak in our strata roof. Called Taves and within a couple of hours Corey showed up and fixed the leak. He was friendly and knowledgeable. Don't hesitate to call them if you are in need of a repair.
