I’m with the custom builder here in the Austin area. I had an addition built on the backside of this home. We had to tie into the original roof. Sutton Roofing did an amazing job by tying it in and making it look like the original roof. Very clean work.

Thank you for the kind words, Vince! Tying a new addition into an existing roof so the seams disappear is some of the most detail-heavy work we do, so it means a lot coming from a custom builder. It was a pleasure working with you, and we'd be glad to team up on your next Austin-area build.

I just had my roof and exterior repairs completed by Sutton Roofing and my experience was the best. My 19 year old roof had hail damage and a leak. Sutton replaced the roof, gutters, the sheet rock from the ceiling leak, and the vinyl beading on a window. In addition, I asked them to replace some chipped and cracked siding and a patio support post that was rotting. My surprise was that I didn't need to find multiple contractors for the different areas of repair that I needed. They did it all and they did quality work and it was done quickly. Equally important, they had the best customer service. They responded to all my questions, calls, texts, and emails timely. I highly recommend Sutton Roofing, they did great work.

We engaged Sutton Roofing for a major, 26 building townhome roof replacement in Austin in 2025. Cody, Tyler, Mr. Sutton himself and the entire onsite crew were outstanding. They were professional, flexible along the way, worked well with residents and very accommodating.

What does a residential roof replacement actually cost in Austin? In 2026, most homeowners land between $12,000 and $18,000 for quality architectural shingles — and where your roof falls in that range comes down to five things: size (your roof is 10–20% bigger than your floor plan), pitch and complexity, material, decking condition, and whether storm damage puts insurance in play. Our honest pricing guide breaks down each factor, the material options from architectural shingles to metal and tile, how to compare quotes fairly — and why a bid far below market should make you cautious.
