They did the roof on my house in 2019. I bought the house in November 2024 and was told newer roof with 10 year warranty. I noticed a weird dip after a few months so had a reputable company assess it. There are multiple issues (roof depressions with a leak, improperly installed vents and chimney backpan, etc) requiring thousands of dollars in repairs. The reputable roofing company I had assess it thought it was a homeowner DIY roof because the quality is so bad. I made multiple attempts to contact sunshine roofing and was ignored. When I did finally get ahold of them, I was rudely told the warranty was with the owner not the house so they won't address it. When I questioned why a roof warranty wouldn't stay with the property, she hung up on me. Terrible quality work and zero ethics to stand behind their workmanship (which I guess is unsurprising.)

Sunshine recently restored my parent's roof and it looks fantastic, excellent craftsmanship and very friendly! Left no mess behind, it was like they were never there. Pricing was on point and they worked a weekend day because the weather was nice. Got all the work done very fast so there was minimal disruption!

I highly recommend these folks. Super efficient and professional crew. Clean site after completion. Quote was reasonable and no hidden surprises. Roof looks great.

That roof was over 100 years old. Original roof was cedar shingles, with the next asphalt shingle roof installed over top in 1928 and two other asphalt shingle roofs added on top of those. We tore off all 4 layers, separated the asphalt from the cedar and sent it all to a local recycling facility. The spaced strapping was re-sheathed with OSB, underlayment installed, then IKO Dynasty fibreglass laminate shingles. Repaired decaying moulding on barge boards and installed new ridge vents. It was a big job, but it sure looks nice now and well over 90% of the waste kept out of the landfill. 🌞🏠

Where this page comes from
Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 8 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 8, of which 6 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.
Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.
There is not much data on Sunshine Roofing. A short record here means our capture found little — not that there is nothing to find, and not that the business is new or inactive.
