  I hired Irish (now Stronghouse) to do a full tear off and new roof for my residential flat roof, for $37,205. Their website and salesman said that they are experts in flat roofs. The work took several weeks. During this time, a roofer fell through the ceiling into our office. When the work was “complete,” my property was littered with large amounts of nails, debris, and food/drink trash. A skylight was broken and the roofer lied and tried to convince me that it was pre-existing damage, only giving up when I pointed out that the salesman had photos of this area prior to the work showing the glass intact, and that I had gotten on the roof and could see new caulk where he tried to fill in this large hole and conceal the damage. He clearly knew when it happened, because he asked me to unlock that door and he went inside and stared at the skylight for a while. The first big rain, the garage roof held water like a lake. I was told that holding water for a few days is within spec for the material. Well, it held the water longer than that. Multiple people from Irish came out and said that the wrong material was used, or an artificial slope should have been created, but instead of taking it off and doing it correctly, they blighted my garage with a hideous drainage system that has already leaked into my garage. After the roof on the main house had been on for a couple of months, I noticed a leak inside. I said that I wanted someone from the office to go with the roofer and for the plan to be discussed with me before acting because I do not think that this situation signals a small caulk-type fix. They agreed and then sent the roofer out, alone, and he put caulk in it and called it fixed. I was explicitly told that the fix was caulk. Later, when I mentioned this to someone else at the roofer, they said that the only proper fix would have been to redo the flashing and of course he must have done that; they called him and he lied again and said that he had reflashed it (he w

This project involved a flat roof system that had an existing leak near the chimney prior to our work beginning. Additionally, the existing gravel-surfaced roofing system concealed conditions that could not be fully evaluated until the roof was removed. Once exposed, it became apparent that there were conditions and construction details that differed from what was originally anticipated, including challenges related to the chimney area and existing wood panel siding, which limited proper flashing access without additional reconstruction. We acknowledge that aspects of this project did not go as planned. During the course of our investigation, we determined that portions of the roof required corrective work, and we took responsibility for addressing those items. We also recognize that the process took longer than either party would have preferred. A significant portion of the timeline was spent investigating the source of the water intrusion and determining the appropriate corrective measures before committing to a specific repair approach. While we understand your desire for assurances before work proceeded, we needed to complete that evaluation process to accurately identify the cause and scope of repairs. Throughout the project, our team continued to respond, investigate, and perform corrective work until the leak concerns were addressed. We also worked through the property damage claim process and ultimately approved the necessary interior restoration work. While we regret that your experience did not meet your expectations, we respectfully disagree with the characterization that we failed to address the concerns raised.   This company is unprofessional. No communication on anything. Was told one week only for it to be the next week. Not one worker spoke English making it hard to communicate. First day four people then two until they finished took them a week. Destroyed my plants, broke my dryer vent, exterior water outlet damages causing water leak, pop up camper ripped the tail lights off, smashed basement window covers, destroyed brand new water house that cost me $80. The crew left personal garbage everyday tools left out in the open parked their trailer and vehicles in my neighbors yard. No instructions on what to expect on dumpster delivery and material drop off. Due to their incompetent employee entering into my catio which leads into my home left the gate open allowing my $6000 cat to escape. No reason anyone should have entered into part of my home. Destroyed every plant surrounding my home. Poor clean up even after a month still cleaning up nails and shingles. Left the dumpster over the weekend. Took material they charged me that was left over. Again no communication on gutter replacement took another two weeks company arrived at seven at night. The fact they are responsible for my cat escaping and felt no obligation that their employee entered into a part of my home is very disturbing. May it be noted many of my neighbors saw and spoke to me about the poor service they observed. I would never hire this company to do anything and neither will most of my neighbors. Unprofessional one hundred percent. Also when I informed a representative from the company on the second day about my plants he stated it's not like they won't grow back...like wow. Disrespectrul period.

  My neighbor had his roof replace by Irish. They seemed to have done good work but, left a mess in our yard (nails, scraps, sharp metal flashing pieces)! I asked on of the workers to clean the stuff out of my yard & he just laughed at me! I am not happy with this company!

  Irish Roofing did a fabulous job from estimate to finish. Ryan came out at the end of the summer to give us a quote. They came in at least $3,000 cheaper than two other well known competitors. When they came out to do the job, it took them less than a half a day. Our new roof looks great and it is under warranty. This is a great roofing company.

  We are very happy with our new roof and had a positive experience right from the beginning. The salesman was professional, and the price was very competitive. The day of installation went off without a hitch, and the crew cleaned up all their roofing supplies when they were finished. We also received a nice follow-up call afterward, which was a great touch. Highly recommend!

  Installation consisted of (2) interior doors (side entrance and front entrance for a Cape Cod Home. The installer Bob was excellent. Project was completed in two days.
