  I am a combat disabled veteran, and I have never been treated more poorly by any other business in Mississippi since relocating here. If you have to work with the president of the company (Burt D. Goltz), I would strongly advise you to go elsewhere. He has a mouth like a sailor and most likely is a spouse beater by the sounds of it. This company needs to be investigated for "FRAUD" for scamming the system during hurricane events.

  They told me that they're not doing anyone more residential roofing at this time booked up intel the end of March. To bad for them l have a large home almost 40 square.

  During a stressed time like a hurricane, we cannot make everyone happy.Have no email record of him. WE ARE WIDE OPEN FOR BUSINESS! Ask my 85 roof clients in backlog!!Most likely not a match for us.

  6 weeks and still waiting for my estimate. Not forth coming with information and not personable. I guess my little roof was not big enough. Do not waste your time.

  Very Rude When I Called For Help. Said He Wasn't Coming Out My Way for Free..Even though he would have gotten paid. Referred me to Jims Roofing and I'm glad he did.

  I called strong Roofing to get my roof replaced ( after a storm caused damage all over) and Mr. Burt answer the phone. He was very rude, belittled me, called me a fool for wanting to have my roof replaced as soon as possible ( my insurance told me I have to get it fix on my own and them send them the receipts to receive a refund) and he was unapologetic for the way he was treating me. There is no way I would have somebody so disrespectful working on my roof, what a jerk !!!!

  Homeowner did not have their paperwork from the insurance company so therefore we were not able to assist them. I am a state licensed adjuster and I tried to explain the process to them but they did not want to listen. We wish them the best of luck and I feel sorry that they felt we were rude.

  I can't say they do good work because they never showed up. I called on Saturday said maybe Sunday, but if not Sunday for sure Monday . No show Monday so i called he called back said for sure Tuesday. Guess what no show Tuesday or even a call back. So can't say they do good work.

  Would not recommend. Very unprofessional service and outrageous price. Ended up having the same job completed for 1/3 of their quote.

  Burt, Jose, and the whole team were awesome! My family has used them to re-roof two houses now, and they've been great every time. They're fast, reasonably priced, and just really nice people. We couldn't be happier with the results and would definitely recommend them!

  Update 2026: Jose came out to look at a concern I had after the insane rain we've had. He answered the phone on the weekend, talked me through the issue, and then came out 2 days later to fix it. Always prompt, always courteous and always listens. Thank you Jose and if you need roof repair/new roof, call Strong! Update 2025: Roof is still doing great 12 years later! I needed to redo the soffit on one side and add off edge intake vents to the other. I once again turned to Strong Roofing and they did not disappoint. Jose was very attentive to my concerns, the crew did a great job at a great price. For a new roof, replacement or repair, I cannot recommend anyone else higher! ------ I don't know why my previous review didn't post, so I'll just put what I posted on Angie's List here: Strong Roofing did the following for my 25 square roof: - Removed existing roofing material and sheathing, and replaced it with new 15/32" plywood sheathing to meet code and retrofit requirements using a requested 4" o.c. nail pattern. - Installed Owens Corning Weathermat water barrier across the roof per retrofit requirements. - Installed Owens Corning Deck Defense as a bond break across the roof per retrofit requirements. - Installed brand new drip edge. - Installed 25 squares of Duration Shingles per code and extra retrofit requirements requested to include high wind nail pattern and extra adhesive considerations at the eave and rake. - Cleaned the job site and removed all debris in the area. - Pulled permit and met with inspection both for nail pattern and end result. Burt and his crew have been incredible. Burt goes above and beyond any contractor I have ever met. He was always prompt to his appointments with me, patient with my questions and retrofit requirements, and consistently able to answer any questions I had. He was present for the full tear down and installation, vigilant over the quality of the materials and the work. His crew worked hard the entire day, even wh

  Burt and his team put a new roof on in 2020 and 6 years later when I noticed a section around the chimney that needed resealing, his team came out and fixed it at no cost to me. They even did an inspection of the roof overall and touched up spots where some nails had loosened up. If you need a new roof, these people will absolutely take care of you. Give them a call and see what real customer support and service after the sale looks like.

  Jose, Travis and their whole team were great to work with. I just wish I had found them sooner. I had recently had a roof installed by another company and the experience was awful and I was already having issues just one year later. Not only did they repair the issues that I was having they inspected the entire roof and made some other repairs as well. Their crew was professional and Jose and or his supervisor was there for the entire job. I highly recommend Strong Roofing

  During a bad storm, our roof began leaking. We gave Strong Roofing a call and Mr. Alonso (a fellow veteran) came out the SAME DAY and immediately fixed the issue. He also checked the entire roof for any other possible issues. He was very friendly, helpful, and professional. We highly recommend him and Strong Roofing!
