Strickland Roofing was chosen by the buyer of a home we were selling, They arrived at 7am and worked through out the day until 6pm to get the roof completed. The roof job was good. BUT...the little details left undone by this team was …

Ms Rivera, This review makes no sense to me because when I showed up the very next morning to look things over, you were very pleased. I did a final walk around like I always do and found nothing in the yard or bushes. Bear in mind, we completed the roof 10 days before settlement. If there was a problem, it should have been brought to my attention. The roof was tedious, having several layers of shingles on it that had to come off, and we jumped through hoops so that your settlement could go through on time and without a glitch. I would surmise that the small drywall cracks that you speak of were a direct result of the removal of extra tons of weight on the roof rafters from the extra layers of shingles. We DO NOT slam bundles of shingles on the roof. I removed an unused satellite dish from the roof at your request. There was no Verizon cable, or spotlights. As for the rainspouts, that doesn't even make sense. I have no explanation as to why you would try to harm our perfect reputation other than not being happy about having to install a new roof in order to sell the home. We pride ourselves on our meticulous clean up after a re-roof. Anyway, the roof looks fantastic and the new owner will have peace of mind knowing that there are no longer several layers of shingles on the roof. They will also be receiving a 50 year tangible Warranty from GAF. I am sorry that you are so unappreciative. Best wishes on your new home....

I had a leak in my garage that tearing down some sheetrock appeared to be from a dead area of the roof at the second floor. Our home was built in 2002 and the roof is original, so I was fully expecting to buy a new roof. Based on excellent reviews, I called Jeff at Strickland Brothers Roofing. Jeff came out to inspect and I asked for an estimate to replace the entire roof. After inspection, he said the roof was still in good shape and I may need a repair, but certainly not a new roof. OK, think about that for a minute. I am prepared to buy a new roof, and a guy who sells roofing tells me I don't need a new roof. He gave me the estimate I asked for, but still had a crew go up and, over a couple of visits, look for and repair the damaged area. They found and repaired old caulk, nail through a shingle with no backing (where the water was running down), and the several shingles it took to get to it. It had held for years but water finally made intrusion. It took a couple of trips because the nail was hard to find, and they were fitting me in between jobs. It was great for me since it wasn't an emergency as we haven't had much rain. After the first visit to inspect, Jeff actually worked with the crew on the 2 times they came out to do a closer inspection and the repair. Over an inch of rain this past Saturday. Garage is dry. Just got the invoice today and am a happy camper. I told Jeff that when the time comes for a replacement roof, they have my business. And I recommend you give them yours as well. Nov 2024. Roof still leaks. Same place. The leak has damaged the sheetrock repair in the garage that I had done thinking the leak was fixed. Roof and sheetrock will have to be done again. I contacted Jeff who tells me he cannot do the repair and that I have to find someone else.

Jeff and his team were great. First, you will not beat his price! Warranty and the other normal perks included. Second...they were done very quick with no inconvenience to us. Finally, he was thorough on responding to questions and concerns! Thanks Jeff!

Mr. Sheffe, thank you for your honest and great review. We did complete the roof after a snow had fallen and it is difficult to gather all of the debris that falls through the snow during a roof replacement. I would like to thank you for your patience while allowing us to come back and complete a thorough perimeter cleaning after the snow was gone. And, thank you for choosing Strickland Brothers Construction, LLC and Roofing.

Strickland Bros were wonderful to deal with. They gave me a very competitive price, kept me informed of progress and any issues all along the process. Because my roof is so steep, the crew had to be tethered in, it was quite something to watch. Everyone on the crew was polite and courteous and they cleaned up every day before leaving. Very professional company, I would highly recommend.
