  Have a leak in a roof for a commercial building, asked for a estimate for the roof repair. Storm guard came out gave me an estimate, signed a contract, but the leak was never fixed. They stated that they came out a second time and the …

Our initial scope of work was clearly outlined to address three specific areas, all of which we have completed as agreed upon. As we progressed with the project, it became clear that additional work outside of the original scope would be necessary to fully complete the job. We provided a new scope and estimate for these extra tasks, but we understand that you were not willing to move forward with the additional costs at this time. We are happy to continue working on the project as soon as you’re ready to approve the new scope and associated costs. Our goal is always to ensure our clients are satisfied with the final result, and we are more than willing to work with you to complete the job to your expectations.   We hired Storm Guard of New Bern in December 2024 to remove our old siding and install new. And to build an overhang over our side door. The agreement was for us to pay a percentage up front and the remaining final amount when they were finished and we are satisfied. Before they were finished Kathy Nicodemus ask for final payment and promised they would make sure we were satisfied, I trusted her to be true to her word. We have many issues we’re not satisfied with like trim that is kinked and bent, siding that is loose, wavy and bulging, Gaps left that light can be seen in the garage and attic that was not there with the old siding, Nails and debris still found on the ground, The deck hand rails were cut from the house and left without support. Kathy and Kevin came back a couple of times to look at some issues and said they would take care of them. After 2 weeks Kathy text me and said they haven’t forgotten me. That was over a month ago on march 4th 2025 and Haven’t heard a word sense then. What ever you do if you hire them do not pay them until they are finished and you are satisfied.

  Show up on time for appointment but never receive a call or email about the estimate after many attempts calling them no response as of today.

  Hired them to replace roof and do repair following the hurricane. They came out and repaired the roof structure and put shingles down. It has been weeks and they haven’t been back or called. They haven’t put any of the trim or soffit up. I’m furious. Here I thought they were a reputable company. All that new wood that was replaced to repair the roof is exposed. They left trash on top of the roof (nail boxes and junk. Worst experience!!!

  Met with Kathy Nicodemus and Kevin today regarding a potential roof leak. They arrived promptly, took the time to assess the issue and gave us their honest opinion. We accepted their recommendation and should we have future issues, we will definitely reach out to them again. A very pleasant encounter.

  Kathy Nicodermus was a gem to work with. She helped me every step of the way. She was so informative compared to other companies who gave me an estimate...I highly recommend Kathy amd stormguard for a roof, etc. Im very happy to have them help me...never had to leave a message for Kathy because she always answered the phone no matter if it was the weekend or at night...thank you Kathy for awesome service

  We had at least five roofing companies come out to give us an estimate. Kathy from Storm Guard of New Bern was by far the most thorough when inspecting the house. Right from the beginning we felt the most comfortable with Kathy and Storm Guard. I even asked my insurance agent what his opinion was of Storm Guard of New Bern and he told me he had hired them to do his roof and was very pleased. Whenever we had questions, Kathy was just a text away. I would definitely recommend Storm Guard of New Bern.

  A friend recommended StormGuard of New Bern for my project. I called them and they promptly responded to my need with competitive pricing estimate and options for consideration. Without asking they supplied copys of their credenticals that gave me confidence I was in good hands. I will not hesitate to use them again for my future projects.

  We found Kevin and Kathy to be very personable, pleasant and easy to work with. They made us aware of and helped us get a $6,000 grant for our fortified roof which was installed on time and on budget. They also did a major renovation on our second floor. We hope to use StormGuard of New Bern again soon for a new deck.

  Stormguard did a great job installing a roof on my house. Kevin, Kathy, and their crew were fantastic and easy to work with. They were amazingly fast and clean. Highly recommend them!

  Everything went great-from making the appointment to them coming out and fixing the problem. I was pleasantly surprised when they were able to determine the problem and fix it on the spot. Kevin got out a ladder and climbed up on the roof to inspect it. I am very happy with my new roof and the work they did. I would absolutely hire them again and will highly recommend them to all my family and friends

  Kathy has been great. She’s been very responsive to all of our calls and texts. She was able to meet with the independent adjuster to go over their findings as well as share photos she was able to take in the attic. I look forward to working through the process of the insurance and getting a new roof put on the house.
