  Called and asked them to come give me a quote. We made an appointment and I even got a reminder text morning of. Whole day came and went, never showed and never bothered to call me to say they weren’t able to make it.

  I called to follow up on an email I had sent a couple weeks prior showing the building prints and township information I was asked to get. After explaining a few things and trying to make sure everything was understood we ended the call.. Or so he thought, and as I was trying to hang up I could hear Gary speaking to someone else in the office and mocking me and "ugh, my ear". This build is important to me and my family and to hear that it's a joke for someone else is extremely upsetting. Will definitely be using someone else for the project.

  Soffit installation 2022. Did not seal them tight. Called 4 times to come back and inspect/repair before the wind a piece all the way off. No response. I am so disgusted with the service. Would not recommend.

Im sorry I got the warranty repair ticket and never followed up on time and when I realized it after it was brought to my attention by the office . it was all ready to late when I finale got there and you had it fixed . please except my apology and I am personally sending you out a gift card for your inconvenience , and we have changed some things in our process to make sure this doesn't happen rolling fword. sorry Timothy

  I made an appointment 2-3 weeks in advance and Sean, the owner, said he called this morning to cancel. I have caller I.D and answering machine, he never called. Said he had a lot of business come in this past week, which I was scheduled weeks before, and is not going to be able to work for me. Last minute cancellation is not professional and again, he did not call me. I have money, not financing, but for some reason this customer is not good enough for their business. Wouldn't recommend them to anybody even for a dog house. They are the worst

  I don't like making reviews but I was compelled to do so because I spent thousands of dollars to have my roof on my home and attached garage replace and it is still leaking. First issue, Lowe's contracted Starlight for the job! Second issue, they tore off the old garage shingles and placed on new shingles but they were the wrong color. Third issue, they installed my roof in November and it started leaking in February. Forth issue, they noted it was there fault which they came out and repaired but it starting leaking again two years later in the same locations! I reached out to inform them of the issue again but no response. Fifth, I contacted Lowe's and they sent out an insurance adjuster which ruled in Lowe's favor. Now I am stuck with a leaky roof after three years. Moral of the story, never have Lowe's or Starlight perform any kind of work on your home or business. They will not honor their work. I can attest to that!

  Seemed like a really great,honest guy when he finally came out to my place. Never called after I called the office to get an estimate. When I finally gave up on hearing from him & called him back again,he did come right out. He gave me some estimates, explained the issues, said he’d come out to fix a leak within a few weeks. Never showed up, never called & never returned my calls. Would definitely NOT recommend!

  I can't speak about the quality of work this company does, but I can speak about the ethics of the employees. During the noon hour on 05-10-2018 several of the workers in Cass City were out smoking marijuana and returned to the job site high. I won't be using this company if their safety standards are this low. If this reaches Star Improvements, you should consider cutting the liability. This isn't just a quality concern, but a danger for the community where I live and my kids play. If one of your workers drives into something or someone while high, you'll most likely be tied up in litigation for failing to act.

  Totally screwed me paid for Roof and windows. They never came did the work. still waiting for them to respond to me. they ignore my calls and emails. I really wish i could give them zero stars. I guess I will just have to take them to court.

  Chris Bates has never been a Star Improvements of Michigan customer the closest relation he has to us is Star Ink and thread purchased a back drop business from him. printing equipment was purchased and paid for, but have never received the operating website , which was the actual business and with out that there was 0(zero) income . everyone knows how ridiculous these claims are , we rarely even ask for 1/2 down , and thank you for all the customers who know this is bullpucky , and have last hired us even after reading this . hopefully google will finally realize this a review from a competitor.

  I highly recommend star improvements of Michigan they have done my roof and had to reframe one spot of my roof a few years they fixed my gutters and they replaced 17 of my windows in my house and replace a front door and my glass sliding door they do amazing work and I promise you guys won't be unstandardized when the job is done and if you have any problems they are right back at your house to fix whatever it is you need again thanks star improvements for everything you guys and your teams are amazing at what you guys do.

  Details of my job or gutter replacement and three vent repairs. I had someone out to give me an estimate. They were there within 2 to 3 days and I had my estimate that day. They came out with in a reasonable time And finished everything in one day. My property was as clean when they left as when they got there.

  Star improvements, What a great company and actually looking forward to them doing more work for me! It has been over a year since installation and Sean stopped by to inspect roof and make sure everything with roof is going well...and as a bonus he cleaned my 2nd story gutters....thanks again Sean!!

  Needed some shingles repaired from wind damage. They said they would have somebody out to repair them the next day. They ended up showing up that evening and repaired them. Great service and friendly people. Will definitely call them again if needed.

  Had a roof leak that damaged our ceiling. Called Star Improvements on a Saturday, and they were out by Tuesday and quickly repaired the leak. They saw that a previous owner had done a terrible installation of the plumbing vent pipe boot, and did a terrific job of installing a new boot. Very fair pricing, too! I would highly recommend them!
