After getting several roofing estimates and spending a lot of time comparing contractors, I decided to go with STAR-2024 Roofing, and I'm very glad I did. Although Elmer primarily speaks Spanish, he made sure communication was never an issue by having one of his crew members translate whenever necessary. Throughout the project, he was patient, answered my questions, and took the time to explain the work being performed. What really set STAR-2024 Roofing apart was their transparency and attention to detail. Elmer was willing to revise the contract several times to clearly spell out the scope of work, materials, repair allowances, and unit prices. During the estimate, he also recommended improvements that other proposals didn't identify or include, such as installing a chimney cricket with proper ice and water underlayment behind the chimney to improve water drainage and adding six O'Hagin vents based on an attic ventilation calculation to improve airflow and moisture control. Those recommendations, along with his willingness to explain them, gave me confidence that the roof was being built for long-term performance rather than simply replacing shingles. He obtained the required city permit before starting the project and provided all the documentation. Since I wasn't able to be at the property during the roof replacement, Elmer kept me informed every day by sending photos and videos showing the progress—from the tear-off and wood repairs to the completed roof. That gave me a great deal of confidence that the work was being done properly. The crew worked hard, kept the job site clean, and completed the project professionally. They also performed a thorough cleanup and magnetic nail sweep before finishing. If you're looking for a roofing contractor who is honest, responsive, and takes pride in quality workmanship, I highly recommend STAR-2024 Roofing. Thank you, Elmer and your team, for an excellent job!

I was terrified of being told I needed a full roof replacement. Three other companies tried to sell me a whole new roof but this team was different. They showed me the photos of the actual problem fixed it for a very fair price and didn't push any extras. It’s rare to find a company this honest. They’ve earned a customer for life.

I had a great experience with this roofing service from start to finish. They were professional, punctual, and very clear about the process and pricing. The crew worked efficiently, kept the area clean, and the final result looks solid and well done. It’s rare to find a company that delivers exactly what they promise. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing roofing work.
