  I called them to repair my leaky vent and all they wanted was a maintenance plan. No thank you.

  I am sorry you felt like we were trying to get more money out of you. We suggested the maintenance plan because you had more issues that were popping up and it would have actually saved you money over the following year. We would have been happy to fix the vent for you without the plan though.

  I called Skyward Roofing for a gutter cleaning and a roof inspection estimate but was skillfully sold on an expensive gutter leafguard system. I asked Bob to open my roof access so I could see what my roof needed for myself. After viewing the condition of the roof, I saw I needed more than just gutter leafguard. I told him I had to cancel the leafguard system and needed to discuss other options. Bob became angry and refused to do any further business with me. I have since gotten estimates from 2 other companies who have given me proper estimates. Mr. Bob: leaf gutter guards and cleaning, $2500. Needed roof repairs: replace flashing, extend and repair roof hatch, reseal any seems and bubbles and install leaf guards and clean gutters; estimate #1: $3500. Estimate #2: $2200. The numbers speak for themselves. Shame on you Bob! Beware of this business! He did no gutter cleaning, he only opened the hatch. I cleaned the gutters myself. I offered to pay for opening the hatch but he insisted the only payment he would accept was the $2500. Thanks for opening my roof hatch. If I was able to see the condition of my roof before I agreed to your leafguard estimate this review may have gone differently. You refused to negotiate not I.

  Hello Mr. Correa, Thank you for taking the time to leave some feedback. It always pains me when a customer is not satisfied so let me try to explain things from our perspective. You called us out for a gutter cleaning and while we were there you explained that you wanted to get someone out “every couple of weeks” to clean your gutters so we suggested gutter guards which would have saved you money over the long run (because you would not need someone to clean your gutters so often). If you had requested a roof inspection while we were there we would have been happy to provide that for you. There are so many contractors that will try to sell you services you don’t need in order to line their own pockets. Your roof was reaching the end of it’s life cycle but it was not currently leaking and there was no emergency need to replace it so we did not want to pressure you into doing it then just so we could profit. We also did not charge you for the gutter cleaning we performed and we took the time to get your fire escape hatch unstuck (which was not an easy job) and did not charge you for that either. We would have been happy to replace or patch and seal your roof for you, but again we did not want to use scare tactics like so many other contractors do. I hope you are able to get your project taken care of and if you would like us to quote it for you we would be happy to do so. I’m also very sorry that you felt like leaving a bad review after we performed free services for you and did not try to oversell you like so many others would have. Thank you, Bob

  From the initial inspection to the final cleanup, everything was handled professionally.   Insurance required us to get a new roof ASAP and we found Skyward roofing who came by pretty quickly with an estimate and installed the new roof. The customer service was great when the insurance company needed additional information.
