Scioto Roofing

The only one or two-star review we hold for Scioto Roofing.

The company came out and did a very professional and speedy job, tearing off the old roof and having the new one done in less than 1 day, which was great... or would be, if you weren't the neighbor of the person getting the work done, like I was. The crew working left enough old shingles laying in my backyard to fill up a large garbage bag, along with plastic strips, old nails, and two large cardboard boxes. While there is a privacy fence and I do have a large dog, no attempt was made to clean up this mess, which was quite annoying. Most frustrating of all was the large number of old roofing nails they let fall into my grass, which I spent almost an hour going over to make sure I got them all (so the dog or I wouldn't step on them). They seemed to do a nice job cleaning up the property of the person paying them, but it would have been nice to extend that courtesy to the neighbor, since I neither asked for nor wanted them to make a mess of my yard.

Hi James, we are sincerely sorry to hear about the debris in your yard. We always do our best to ensure we limit the roofing debris into surrounding areas of our build but it obviously sounds like we could have done better on this build. We would be happy to send a project manager out to sweep your yard with a magnetic sweeper and also ensure all debris was picked up in your yard. If you can please call us at 614-706-7360, we would love to do what we can to make up for your poor experience!

Nick took my problem as seriously as I did. He came out next day to inspect the leak around my chimney and toilet boot. The team made the repair within a week and didnt leave a single piece or trash anywhere in the yard! He was confident he could repair it quickly and knew exactly what the issue was. I had two other companies tame a look, one ballparked us at triple the cost of Nick's estimate. The other guy showed up without a ladder and Im still waiting on a quote. 10/10 would recommend Scioto Roofing for quick, cost effective repairs.

I worked with Scioto roofing on a roof replacement for a rental property of mine. From the quick and thorough estimate to scheduling and completion, this was the most efficient and easy process. I always gather multiple quotes and Scioto's pricing is more than fair, they provide both before and after pictures and a multiple page report on the roof condition and provided excellent communication throughout. Will 100% be using them for any additional roofing needs I have in the future.

Scioto Roofing recently replaced the roof on my house and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Mike, the project manager, was great. He kept in contact with me throughout the whole process from start to end. He was professional, informative and had a sincere demeanor to ensure my expectations were being met. During the construction he often stopped by to check on progress. After completion of the work, while the roofing crew was still on prem, he did a thorough walk through around my house and on the roof to make sure all debris and left over materials had been removed. They even paid special care so as to protect my gutters during the process, which incurred no damage at. What a great experience. I would recommend calling Scioto Roofing if you're interested in a new beautiful roof.
