Couple years back I had a roof leak during Tropical Storm Hillary, it made a mess. I called SBS and Omar came out right away and lifted tile, re-papered the leak area and did a roof inspection that also included adding some caulking to some areas. The roof is typical heavy tile over paper and was 30 years old original roof at the time. Omar said the roof still had life in it and to keep it maintained annually until it needed a tile lift reset. Fast forward to now, with all the El Niño talk I figured I was rolling dice on this old roof and decided to call SBS back for a re-roof estimate. Ezekiel came out and met me and did the inspection and estimate on a Friday and by Monday the crew was there doing the work. SBS was very professional and did a great job. I’m in unincorporated Riverside county which does permitting a little differently than most cities as they do not send Inspectors out for the permit. They require self-certification by the contractor. When Omar went to pull the permit, imagine my shock to learn that my 30+ year old house was never permitted by the builder! The original build permit was never closed out 3 decades ago and they required that fee paid before pulling the new roof permit. Omar paid that on the spot for me and scheduled the inspector that the county said was required for that original build closeout. That got taken care of and after the roof was done SBS went back and filed the self certification paperwork and closed everything out. What a nightmare this would have been for me as the homeowner to navigate. Very grateful to Omar and Ezekiel at SBS for being so good to work with. I hope I don’t need any roof work anytime soon but if I do I will use SBS and you should too.

They did a great job with my roof, very polite, punctual and did everything on schedule. They also coordinated with removal/reinstallation of existing solar panels so that everything went seemlessly

Had a great experience with SBS. Everything was done on time, within the quote, and with professionalism. The team was very communicative through the entirr process, making sure I understood what was happening at every stage, sharing drone shots and up close photos along yhe way. Final product looks great, and they left no mess at all. They also provided a far longer warranty than some other bidders on the same product. Highly recommend.

Ezekial and the team do an amazing job. As a GC , for my company Sage Roots Consulting LLC, he has installed more than 60 of my clients jobs since 2022. This is the most recent in Carlsbad and I took care of of the solar remove and reinstall. Great caring and professional crew.

I am very pleased at the quality of the workman's professional knowledge of the project. No up selling, just the what was needed. Anything that needed attention, they pointed it out. I had 2 layers of roof to be removed and they did a cleanup each day. I replaced some water damaged fascia boards that were obviously bad. I would recommend SBS Roofing Inc.!

Ezequiel & crew worked five days lifting and relaying our 32yr old concrete tile roof prepping for our solar panel installation. They repaired the termite-damaged fascia, reflashed & sealed all the vents, laid new UDL 50 underlayment, relaid the original tiles - refit/repaired damaged tiles. Ezequiel is responsive to any concerns and questions. High-quality work & service - highly recommended.
