They are anxious to convince you that they have the best products available while almost never returning phone calls. Try asking for their engineering stamp on their steel trusses, what a joke. Every truss package I have ever ordered from all respectable companies have always sent out the information regarding the trusses, weight distributions, dead and live weights, spacing, bracing, and very importantly the engineering stamps so that I know as a builder that my own rear isn't gonna go down for someone else's mistakes. These guys designed a loft beam that only allowed for 6 pounds per square inch. Minimum required is about 50 psf. They can be super nice and accommodating at times, but they convinced a customer I got through them that I didn't know what I was talking about in reference to the beam and its loads. I will never use them again. They wanted the metal panels to be installed over a .5" thick layer of foam which effectively makes the structure incredibly weak. Metal needs to be installed directly to the wood or steel frame if you wish to gain the strength from it, otherwise you will be required to design another rack and brace system to compensate, which they did not do. Their metal panels aren't always cut square either. Typically their panels are just shy of being cut 1/8" out of square on the ends. May not sound too bad until you do a bunch of wainscoting and every 3 ft. where it laps you have this weird looking jagged jump in height at the bottom. You can lean the panel 3 inches over and be that far out of square, but why would anyone do that? They were typically willing to try and make things right after I complained, but I can't afford to lose one day a week to bring messed up materials back to have them fix it. Talk about losing money on my end.

I, like another customer had indicated here, sent emails with diagrams and detailed requirements for an order and this company just simply doesn't want my business. I needed 14 heavy duty steel trusses and over 10,000 ft² of roofing …

I tried to get pricing and place an order for some trim and he wouldn’t respond. I sent another message to see if they would be able to take care of my order and no response. They are hard to get ahold of and I believe not interested in smaller orders.

This is the place to buy steel for roofing or siding. Don’t mess with Metal Sales and their dealer purchasing model. This place is cheaper, easier to deal with and the same quality.

Where this page comes from
Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 17 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 17, of which 16 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.
Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.
