The first three are Google’s own figures for San Diego Roof Doctor, read on 24 September 2026; the share is of every rating Google has counted, not of the review texts on this page. The median is ours — the middle figure among the California roofers we list with enough ratings to compare.

We hold no one or two-star review text for San Diego Roof Doctor. That is not the same as there being none — it means our capture did not reach any. The rating breakdown above is Google’s own count and is the number to go on.

San Diego Roof Doctor takes pride in their work and cares about their customers! The crew was professional, highly skilled and well organized. They communicated with us frequently, were very courteous and cleaned up meticulously every evening. I was concerned about our glass railing around our deck. A member of the crew built a custom plywood "box" that completely covered the glass which was spotless when the cover was removed after the installation. We love our new roof and wholeheartedly recommend San Diego Roof Doctor!

I first started working with SD Roof Doctor when I was president of a high rise condo downtown. Our 12-year old roof was leaking like a screen door and we knew a new roof was needed. Instead of selling us on a million dollar new roof, Emilio talked us into a PVC membrane with the same warranty, less ongoing maintenance, and 40% less cost. SOLD! The crew was amazing, efficient, and we've never had a problem since. Years later when I purchased a home, I needed a roof inspection and called SD Roof Doctor. The roof was at the end of its life, and once again, instead of selling me on a whole new roof, Emilio had modern solutions at the ready. I went with a silicone coating with a 25-year warranty. More expensive than replacing the roof with the same crappy 10-year bitumen roofing, but averaged per year, the silicone roof was 30% cheaper than the bitumen option. As an added bonus, the silicone roof reflects 92% of UV (per manufacturer brochure). I didn't expect much by this when I read it, but boy was I surprised when the temperature in the house dropped 4 degrees! This will make a dramatic difference in my summer air conditioning costs. The crew was amazing to work with. I had great communication from the office, periodic check-ins from the project manager, and the on-site crew did a great job. They tidied up at the end of each day and did a thorough cleaning including pressure washing various areas when they were all done. I really didn't expect the level of cleanup they did of my surrounding patio and I was really pleased with that. The little granules from the previous roof make a mess everywhere and I was so glad I didn't have to deal with them. They also worked directly with my solar installer, Aloha Solar, so I didn't have to be the middle man on important technical details I didn't understand. Once the old roof was stripped, they notified Aloha who came to install the solar brackets. Then Roof Doctor came back to install the new roof over it, and

We have used San Diego Roof Doctor in the past and were very pleased with their work, so I contacted them for our leak in another part of the roof, under the solar panels. San Diego Roof Doctor coordinated the removal and replacement of our solar panels and repaired our roof. As before, we are extremely happy with the results. I have recommended San Diego Roof Doctor to a friend, and they are excited to work with such a great company, too.

Amazing service. We have nothing but great things to say about this company. He came today and gave us an honest quote and actually identified the hole where our roof was leaking. We had two other estimates who didn’t even go up on the roof and said false or misleading info. If we would have gone with either of them we would have another leak. I am so glad we called the roof doctor to help us as he even did a temporary fix until we can schedule him to fully repair it.

I spoke to Emilio at San Diego Roof Doctor about a town-home a client is buying near Mission Valley. The condo complex had some roof leaks and they recently passed an assessment to replace all of the roofs. The buyers lender asked for a letter stating what the condition of the roof was and Emilio answered his phone and was very knowledgeable about the roof. He provided a letter that we submitted to the lender quickly. I was really glad I did not have to speak with an answering service. Thanks San Diego Roof Doctor!

Where this page comes from
Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 16 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 5, of which 5 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.
Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.
