The critical reviews
The one and two-star reviews, first. These are what a star average hides, and they are the reason this page exists.

This man came to look for a job at my bldg. Never called with proposal, when I reached out to him, he said he was not interested in the job , he had no professional Courtsey to let me know.

S&S Roofing saved the day at our nonprofit! We had a failing flat roof on the back part of our newly purchased and renovated building. An unforeseen expense that we would need to fund-raise to cover. S&S came in as the lowest bid. When we asked why...we were informed that the company made a decision donate some of the materials and labor. We were blow away by the act of kindness from the owner and the professionalism of the employees. They communicated with our staff every step of the way. Even alerting us of peak times when the noise would be loud so we could prepare the students inside the building who have disabilities for the noise.

I've used several roofers over the years on my high rise buildings around NJ. S&S Is my go to group for roof replacements as well as maintenance. They know their stuff and are willing to work to find the solution that is in their client's best interest. From the top down, this is the type of business people should want to work with.
What S & S Roofing says about itself
Taken from the business’s own website. We have not checked any of it. These are quotes, not credentials — a roofer writing “licensed and insured” on their homepage is not evidence that they are.

Where this page comes from
Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 7 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 7, of which 4 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.
Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.
There is not much data on S & S Roofing. A short record here means our capture found little — not that there is nothing to find, and not that the business is new or inactive.
