  I would NOT recommend this company for the following reasons. I had a section of my mom’s roof replaced by Ronstadt Roofing. The workers were unprofessional and did poor, sloppy workmanship. My mistake was not being at home when the work was done. See the pictures of the type of work you can expect when hiring this company for roofing repair. The workers moved materials from the front of the house to the back, lifting them in the front and walking back and forth on a roof that was not being replaced. This will shorten the life of the original roof. The gate was left wide open for their workers. When the work was completed, I received a text with poor quality pictures of the job informing me that the work is completed. The work was rushed and poorly done. The attached pictures are what they left the roof when texting me its completed (pictures I took). When I went up to inspect their work, I was shocked by how they left the roof there were bumps everywhere, plywood seem not properly nailed down (not solid when walking over couple of spots), and nails were missing on the ridge cap where they had reworked it. What if I didn’t know how to get on the roof? How many clients have they done this to? When I called Kevin (the son), he told me this was normal and tried to brush off the poor workmanship. After insisting that they return to remedy the situation, they did but without properly informing me. I had to call and was told they were already on their way. I left work to meet with the workers and showed them the issues. The worker said he would tell his boss about the problems and began reworking the roof to try to flatten the bumps. The problem with this is that it further shortens the life of the roof by reheating the material and forcefully rolling it flat. After the workers left, the ridge caps were still not nailed down, which is a serious issue because this area is very windy.   This roof was completed to manufacturer specifications on an existing structure with pre-existing structural deficiencies not created by our company. While those conditions do not affect the integrity or performance of the roof, they can result in cosmetic irregularities; we worked with the existing structure, and the roof itself is properly installed. The primary concerns raised in this review relate to aesthetic issues, specifically minor surface irregularities, wrinkles, soft spots, and ridge cap nailing; all of which stem from the structure itself, not workmanship. The rafters on this structure are overspanned, which creates the soft spots being referenced. This results in increased flex, which we did not consider excessive and does not compromise the integrity, waterproofing, or lifespan of the roof. Roofing materials are designed to be installed on square, flat substrates; when the underlying structure is uneven, cosmetic wrinkling can occur. In this case, the roof plane changes pitch at the wrinkled areas. Again, this is due to the existing structure and does not compromise the integrity, waterproofing, or lifespan of the roof. We replaced plywood only in the area contracted, working with what was already there, and clearly understood this condition at the time of the job. We also reworked portions of the existing shingle roof outside of the contract as a courtesy, going above and beyond to improve the overall appearance. Regarding ridge cap nailing: the ridge cap was properly nailed per code, with fasteners placed under the lap, not face-nailed. This is correct installation. The existing roof had exposed face nails, which is not code-compliant. The complaint appears to be based on not seeing nails, not on improper installation. Additionally, mastic was used where appropriate to ensure wind and water resistance. Claims that walking on the roof “shortened its life” are opinion, not fact.   Ronstadt Roofing saved the day! To continue with my fire insurance, I needed roof repair in a very short time frame. Ronstadt understood my dilemma, made the repairs in a timely manner, kept in communication with me and took the after-photos to recover my insurance. I am grateful for their understanding, professionalism and quality workmanship.

  Thank you for the wonderful service! Our roof looks fabulous. We appreciate the timely installation and the additional care to our roof AC duct work which was not part of the job, but they took care of it anyways.   We just had to get our shingles replaced on our whole house. We did our research and got 3 quotes and between their knowledge and their fair pricing we chose Rinstadt Roofing We are so happy! They even helped fix issues that our prior contractor did incorrectly. I also love that they painted the flashing and the pipes to make everything blend seamlessly. I would recommend them over and over again. Now we have to make the rest of our house look as good as the roof. :)

  I live in Riverside California and I was very pleased with the work Ronstadt roofing did on my home. They had 3 guys working very hard to get it done quickly I think it took less than a week. I had severe damage to a cracked support beam because of a issue with an air conditioner that was mounted on the wrong place without support. I think their prices were very reasonable and professional. This is a family on business and I really appreciate their hard work and professionalism I highly recommend them.

  I had a roof damage of over 10 years of bad craftsmanship from the builder company that designed this house. Rodstadt Roofing came out examined the problem, gave me a great quote, and it was all professionalism from here. He even found another issue with the wood and changed that out for me. Our roof no longer leaks.
