In essence, Renaissance does high quality work but they are a complete sales-based slimey business. It is money grab at every opportunity and prices are inflatated to the absolute max; tricky language is used; questionable communication tactics are implemented; and "passed on" costs like dumpsters and porta potties are at least doubled. They rely heavily on change orders, and even though I knew this and begged them to bid it correctly, they still supplied change orders (calling them "investments", eye roll) for things that were obvious. They also will refuse to provide your insurance company any supporting documentation for their costs if you have a claim you are trying to get reimbursement for (likely because the costs make no sense). My insurance only reimbursed 1/4 of the total claim because Renaissance refused to justify their costs. They are able to charge this because they do a lot of insurance work and perhaps their typical clientele do not pay any attention. At some point Renaissance was advised how to maximize profit like a used car dealership and they implemented every option. I had issue after issue with them and used my own subs for carpentry, masonry and painting. Even that caused problems. In the end, it's all smoke and mirrors and sales tactics. The laborers are working extremely hard and someone at the top is making big bank (e.g., a $350 dumpster invoice was line item'd at $900, which the dumpster company managed entirely). I wish I had not supported this entity (to the tune of about $100,000) but was in too deep, feeling "had" the whole time. Never again.

After leaving the property, they ran a red light and almost caused an accident. Very irresponsible.

Renaissance did an incredible job repairing our home after the tornado last May. The home looks better than ever and the custom copper work along with the intricacies of our roof look incredible. Renaissance did a great job communicating throughout the process and allowed us to work with our insurance company to get them paid in increments that made it easier to navigate between the insurance provider and our mortgage company. I highly recommend Renaissance for any of your roofing, storm damage repair, or copper work needs!

Excellent restoration work by Renaissance on our historic clay tile roof which was damaged by the tornado of May 2025. Jacob, Kai and Nichole were a pleasure to work with. The crew were highly professional and immaculate in their work. Jacob worked very well with our insurance adjuster to get things approved.

The team at Renaissance provided a quick response to getting a tarp installed following roof damage from the recent storms, preventing further damage, while we wait for the assessment for repairs - Thank goodness, because we had yet another downpour today!

Renaissance stepped up to the plate on a 100-year-old copper gutter replacement job that had frightened away many other companies. Not only that, they did it for a price lower than expected and started work almost immediately. Great job by a very skilled & friendly crew.
