  Hi Kristen, We’re sorry to hear that your experience has felt frustrating, and we do understand that communication is an important part of the process. We also want to clarify a few important details about your project. This claim involved storm-related damage and multiple rounds of review with your insurance carrier. Our team submitted supporting documentation for items we believed should be reviewed, including roofing and siding concerns, and your insurance carrier made several coverage decisions along the way. Our goal in that process was not to add unnecessary work, but to properly document the damage and advocate for the work we believed should be considered. We also understand that the process took much longer than expected. The supplement process began in July, the carrier completed additional reviews and inspections, and there were multiple requests for photos, material review, and shingle verification before the carrier ultimately advised that no further changes would be made to the insurance estimate. We acknowledge that our communication could have been better, and we take that seriously. At the same time, much of the timeline was tied to the insurance review process, carrier decisions, and the customer’s final direction on how to proceed. Once you advised us on April 29, 2026 that you wished to move forward based on the current estimate, our production process began. American Roofing & Exteriors is built on integrity, and we work hard to be honest, thorough, and fair with every customer we serve.   James Bray has been dealing with this company since the end of March over storm damage. On October 9th handed Mark Pearson a $5300.00 check for work to be done. MARK PEARSON said the material will be ordered and the work should be done sometime the next week. Nothing has been delivered. Mark Pearson doesn't keep his customer informed of anything! James hasn't heard a word from Mark Pearson since he received the check from James. What kind of company is this?!!

  This company has poor customer service. Not only was the receptionist who called me seeking a fraudulent lead, so was the supervisor I spoke with. Apparently this company's IT department is outdated which means if you're a potential customer your information is at risk. I'd advice you to stay clear of this company. I was perplexed when your company called me and was rude. As I stated to the supervisor I spoke with I was going to leave a review of my interaction.

  Our project took much longer than expected due to several issues, including a lack of communication and follow-up early in the process. While it was a frustrating experience at times, I appreciate that the company ultimately made things right. I especially want to recognize Michael Trenkle for stepping in and taking ownership of the situation. He was honest about the mistakes, kept his word, and worked hard to make sure everything was completed properly. His professionalism, integrity, and commitment to resolving the issues are the reason I chose American Roofing in the first place and the reason I can now leave a positive review.   American Roofing just completed my roof, siding, and painting from the storms a while back. The roof crew did a phenomenal job getting rid of a faux dormor above our bay window which caused a leak in my ceiling. All staff were courteous and knowledgeable. Brendan Peterman and Pat were very helpful in the entire process. Thanks.
