This company is simply greedy, constantly gives you the run-a-round, and has awful customer services. Buyers Beware!! Anyone who needs anything involving roofing, on new construction or existing structures stay away from Rempfer Construction in Lynchburg. I will try and keep it short and brief. Our home was a new construction build in 2017 with a contract for Rempfer to complete and warranty the work (5 years). We are the 2nd home owners no the house has not been sold 4 times. The builder of our home stated that we needed to contact Rempfer because this should be covered under warranty. 1st let me start by saying their customer service is awful! I called and reported the issue we had with our roof edging and explained details and asked about the warranty. Lady stated she would pass it on to the repairman and have him contact us in regards to repair. Fast forward a week still no call from anyone. I called the office back and was informed that the repairment was no longer with the company and someone else would be contacting me. I also inquired about the warranty in which the rep stated they only have 5 year warranty and we where outside that window. In which I replied the home was built in 2017 its 2021… that’s only 4 years. She stated she would have someone call me. Finally, I received a call back stating that someone will be out to look at the roof and giving an estimate at some point through today. I inquired about the warranty and if that is something that would be covered. The lady states it’s very possible but they need to assess the damage. The gentleman shows up about 4 1/2 hours later asking where the damage was, looked at it and stated they will email me. The following day I received the estimate by email for $512.00, I called and asked about the warranty since there was nothing saying it was approved or not. I spoke with the office manager and she stated I would need to talk to Ashley and she would contact her because she is the Vice President and wou

Unfortunatley the Voisine's repair is not covered under our warranty for several reasons. Our new construction warranty was provided to the original homeowners back in 2017. The house has since transferred ownership 2 other times. Our staff went above and beyond researching her issue and providing her with an estimate to complete the repairs, however it was simply not the answer that Mrs. Voisine wanted to hear. The metal was not impoperly installed. Mrs. Voisine is simply trying to get the metal repaired at no cost becasue she failed to make the repair a requirement of the sellers before she purchased the home. We are glad that the Voisine's were able to find someone to fix the issue within their budget and wish them the best in their new home.

We have a rock retaining wall which the rock came loose, Rempher recommended stucco and something called blue stone. The mortar between the blue stone stained our wall. It is so ugly and we have to see this everyday. Run

The homeowners had a block retaining wall. They contracted us to install blue stone caps on the top of the wall and wanted the wall parged with a light coat of concrete in order to cover the block. Over the years the weather and rain runoff down the wall have left a light discoloration on the wall in some areas. The problem is not a workmanship issue. The material discoloration is caused by ground rainwater runoff is not the fault of our organization and in no way could have been foreseen by our company. The staining substance that is accumulating within the rainwater could from a number of different sources. We have cleaned the wall at our expense and the homeowners are still not satisfied. The homeowners want the entire job redone and the wall sealed when sealing the wall was never in the original service contract and is also not a service that we provide. Unfortunately we were unable to come up with a reasonable compromise with the homeowners and we were unable to resolve the issue to their satisfaction.

I appreciate the work on the chimney caps that Rempher Construction did on my townhome. They replaced the large rusted cap that matches the color of the updated vinyl siding of the building. Now the upper repainted caps & collars stand out in their newly refurbished crowns! The Chimney caps look really good! See the “now” and “before” pictures below. It makes such a difference 😃 Thank You Troy Brown of Rempher Construction for your help with this project for the care of my home. Cathy Ray

Rempfer Construction just replaced our roof and it looks beautiful! Joshua Rempfer walked us through each step and was totally professional and attentive. The roofers completed the job in one day in 95 degree heat! We are very pleased and definitely recommend Rempfer!
