We strive for every customer experience to be seamless, and we apologize for the extensive issues you encountered over the course of the project. Regarding the Custom Skylight: We acknowledge the significant delays and challenges involved in resolving the issue with your 6x6 custom skylight. We involved our technical teams and worked directly with the manufacturer, Velux, to address what proved to be a complex issue on their end, which ultimately required a third replacement unit. We are glad the issue finally settled down and was resolved in April. Regarding the Gazebo Structure: We understand your frustration regarding the deteriorated framing found on your gazebo cupola. While we informed you of our "no structural work" policy, we apologize for the communication failure regarding the severity of the rotten wood and the potential risk before completing the roofing. We offered to return and remove the new roofing materials so you could hire a separate contractor for the necessary repairs. We regret that this resolution came too late, as you had already hired another company to complete the work. We sorted through all of our recorded communications and are sure that we did all that was in our power to get you a solution quickly. Unfortunately we were unable to do so because of large gaps of time where we were unable to get a response back. We take all feedback seriously and appreciate you bringing these items to our attention.   If I could give zero stars I would. First I will start with the small stuff-leaving trash and uneaten food in our yard and busting our bird feeder. Now to the more serious offenses- they left more nails in our driveway than I can count, backed over our landscaping pavers with a large commercial truck, burying them in the ground and then proceed to drive into our rock landscaping and hitting our porch with the truck. The top railing of the porch is not even with the rest of the railing and the posts in the ground are now loose. They supposedly fixed our porch but the railing and posts are still pushed in from the truck. Huge mistake to use Cenvar.

  Just saw one of their trucks lose an extension ladder on I64 in Charlottesville. Another vehicle had to run over it. Nearly caused major accidents. All because one of their employees didn’t take the time to properly secure a ladder. Makes you question their work.

  If you have a smaller, simple repair job look somewhere else for your gutter and roof repair. I got way over quoted for a repair job that should in reality have been much, much less costly. Also, the communication the company provides is poor, I was not informed how they and invoice the work which left me in the dark. I had to try and contact them multiple times to get the work finished for the job. On top of that the estimator I worked with was rude, patronizing, and unhelpful. The work was fine but maybe only use them for larger jobs and if someone else who has deep pockets pays for the work.

  I understand why you found this situation frustrating. I did some investigating. We gave you the first estimate on your roof in late August of 2023 for $13,553. With the 5% cash discount we were offering then it dropped the total price to $12,875. We updated your price in late January of 2024 to $13,635, and with the seasonal discount on labor it dropped the total to $13,079. You are correct that in the 5 months between estimates we discontinued the cash discount offer. It is not a bait and switch however. Our prices have gone up slightly, and although the seasonal discount has expired, we have not, and will not, reinstated the cash discount. Our salesman did not escalate this issue to our sales manager. I wish he had because we likely would have made some concessions. Regarding your attempts to reach me, I asked our call center to check the records. They could not find any record of your call beyond the one in January asking for your estimate to be updated. It is possible you called from a different number, but I did not ever get any messages. I get many spam calls and our call center has strict instructions not to pass messages through unless the caller identifies themselves and the purpose of their call. If I had received your messages, I would have passed your concerns along to our sales manager. I am happy that this ended well for you in that you found another company to give you excellent service. -Chris Good

  We just got a new roof from Cenvar. We love the work they provided. They were fast and professional. The project manager, Christian, was like part of the family. Him and the crew went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with the project from beginning to end and afterwards.   Sam has higher management potential for sure. He balanced for our 2 rental houses 2 jobs per house getting his team there. He interfaced with my schedule availability and that of the renters. We’re totally satisfied with both roofs and gutters. Sam is professional and personable and he delivered on time all the while keeping us appraised long distance of status and progress His type of dependable service is why we’ve chosen Cenvar before and will recommend him and you all highly.
