  The quality of roof, gutter and door work is proven well after the crews have left and the work is completed. Two years after my roof, gutters and door were done and all three have issues that have required rework. The owner refused to address or resolve problems, even after his crews agreed the problems were workmanship. Three different crews did each of the jobs and each of the crews were subcontractors. It is going to be interesting to see if over time the excess of high reviews turn around.

  Theresa, thank you for your feedback. We take concerns like this seriously, which is why Philip, the owner, personally came out to inspect your property to thoroughly evaluate the situation. During the inspection, no evidence of defective workmanship or material failure was found with the roofing system installed in July 2024. The interior staining appears consistent with the severe ice damming event that occurred on February 12, 2025. The affected area is located directly beneath a three-way roof intersection near the chimney, which is an area especially vulnerable to water backup during extreme winter weather conditions. In addition, the chimney crown metal was found to be heavily rusted with deteriorated fasteners and visible signs of water intrusion above the stained area as per the inspection report we sent you. Based on these findings, the moisture intrusion appears related to the ice damming event and/or existing chimney-related conditions, rather than any failure of the roofing installation itself. Ice damming is considered an “Act of God” event and is not related to workmanship or manufacturer warranty issues. Even though this was determined not to be a roofing workmanship issue, we still made multiple visits to the property, completed detailed inspections, provided recommendations, offered assistance with the homeowners insurance claim process, and prepared estimates for the recommended repairs. Our goal has always been to provide honest assessments and support our customers however we can.   While can’t comment on the quality of their work, this review is based on their process for obtaining an estimate. We reached out to get a quote for our front porch and back deck to be repaired/replaced. Joe was super nice and explained things well during our meeting. We were expecting to have the quote in a day or so. It’s been a week, we have called and sent text messages to follow up. He’s said that we would receive it the next day, didn’t happen. Then the next time I called he was driving and would call back later. This is not the experience that we would anticipate when considering an investment this large for our home. We have called the main office and were asked to reach back out to Joe.

  Awful. Simply awful. I first contacted Perimeter about a roofing estimate. We ended up going with another company for that, but also had them do an estimate for replacement windows and gutters/soffits/fascia boards. We engaged them for the windows, etc., and I really regret that decision. Things started out well, as we liked the sales liason, Brian. He's been reasonable throughout the saga, but there's lots of other incompetence in many other areas. The window installation started out poorly. They ordered the wrong windows. The windows weren't supposed to have grids in them, but when they arrived to install, they had grids. The installer really didn't care, went ahead and installed them, and then someone from Perimeter came over. They said they had no idea that we didn't want grids. The problem is that they use sub-contractors for everything, and don't have anybody onsite unless there's a problem. Turns out I had told a sub-contractor that came to measure the windows, whom Perimeter subsequently fired because he was screwing up too much (they actually told me this...not confidence inspiring). He apparently didn't pass on the "no grids" info. So the windows were installed and they told me they'd order new sashes to arrive in a few weeks. That turned into a couple of months. I called over, sent emails, etc. asking about the new sashes. I got the answer, "They're here, we just are having trouble scheduling the installer." Then one day, out of the blue, they called and said they were trying to clear out some backlog and wanted to come over and install the sashes. Great. I mean it was only three months after the wrong windows were originally installed...and they did it poorly. It was a few of the sales people that came over to do it - not a sub-contractor...shocker. But I ended up with at least five sashes that weren't seated properly. I sent emails about this, got no action about it, so I watched a YouTube video to learn how to take care of it myself.   Had perimeter roofing come out to my house for a leak in the roof. They conveniently forgot to tell me about the $500 minimum until they were there. They spent about 10 minutes on my roof putting some caulking over the leak. The next rain it was still leaking, so I called them again. They came out and did the same patch work. Next rain was still leaking. I finally got up on the roof myself and fixed it. Complete waste of time and money. One of the guys that worked on my roof did call me and sort of apologize that they didn't fix it. So I do appreciate that they try to maintain a good reputation with their clients, but for me it was not a good experience with them.

  I had my roof replaced in Aug and the roofers placed a sheet of plywood over top of my almost brand new heat pump -thankfully it had a safety switch to keep it from burning up. I had to get the AC company to come out on a day in the 80s to get it started again and was charged $89.00 which I paid as I was assured that Perimeter would reimburse me. That was Aug now it is almost Nov and despite half a dozen calls I still do not have my $89.00 back

  Gabriel was awesome when doing my inspection, very honest apperatice the honesty. Got a brand new metal roof done from them. Very satisfied with it overall. They came early in the morning and started. Got done in the evening. Great job on the clean up!!! Job went smoothly, no hidden fees was told about them after roof was done (paid for some board replacements). Only down side was waiting on my materials to get delivered seemed like forever. Also was able to have the roof done a day early which was awesome!

  I have utilized the services of Perimeter Roofing & Exteriors previously to complete emergency type repairs to both my home and my church (traditional slate roof), with excellent results because of their above average support and service. So, when it was time to have a complete roof replacement (architectural shingle), Perimeter was the only choice for me. They mobilized a full two weeks prior to the scheduled replacement date due to an unexpected delay on another project. Jeff w/ Perimeter called to explain he had a crew that was unexpectedly available and I was happy to let them get busy with my project. Christian and his crew of 8 or 9 roofers mobilized and wasted no time getting busy. They removed the old shingles, made a few structural repairs, and installed my new roof in what was basically 3/4 of a work day. When complete, the whole crew began the process of meticulously cleaning up the work area and my yard. My roof looks great, and I am confident in the quality of Perimeter's work. For this project I spoke with, and was expertly supported by Zach, Caroline, Miha, Jeff, and Christian. The people at Perimeter are both professional and responsive. Perimeter Roofing & Exteriors will continue to be my roofing contractor of choice, and I'll enthusiastically recommend them to all that ask.
