  Because it’s obvious even to my layman’s eyes that the Redwood Roofing Repair did a bad job on my roof, I hired a professional roof inspector to examine their work. Here is the formal report: “Observations: In regard to the pitched tile roof, two areas of inspection, it was observed that only one layer of a synthetic underlayment was used. It is recommended by industry standards to have a double layer of underlayment. The layout of the tile was not thought out by evidence of one short course (two courses down from the ridge). This method is not the proper method for tile layout. The exposures are 14" for the most part. This is the maximum tolerance for exposure, 13 ½" is the recommended exposure. The flashings around the chimney and pipe jack were old flashing, re-used rather than new flashing recommended with a new roof. It appears there is no ridge seal across the ridge. A layer of felt flash band or mortar is recommended to avoid wind driven rain to enter the roof system Tiles are not all that straight. The roof is only vented with the gable and round holes as ventilation (this should be ok). TPO Flat Deck: The stucco was cut in order to run the TPO up the siding. A flat rolled metal was placed to counter the TPO rather than the recommended method of new stucco. Unable to know how far behind the stucco this metal goes. The job was just caulked with roof cement. It appears to be watertight for now but not the best workmanship. Roof vents need to be installed to allow for any condensation that may develop under the TPO. Although the roof wall is quite short, it is recommended and code to have an overflow drain in the event of the main drain getting plugged.”

  I called this company based on the reviews on Google. My roof is 22 years old and I wanted it inspected to see if I needed a new roof. Jordan, the owner, came out and inspected my roof and told me that it had many good years left and did not need to be replaced. I very much appreciated his honesty and that is why I am writing this review. It is nice to find someone who is honest and not just trying to make a few bucks.

  I have a house in Scotts Valley that needed a roof replacement. Jordan and his team were able to take care of my needs and coordinate with my solar installer. He replaced the roof on 3 structures with a TPO roof.

  Redwood Roofing came through with five stars for me! Honest and competitive estimate, did the tear off in one day, reroofed the second day - complete! Their foreman Ezekiel was communicative and the crew treated my property with respect, cleaning up thoroughly everyday protecting my plants and patio. Finished product looked amazing and we were truly happy with their work! It was great to work with Melissa in the office and Jordan the owner👍. Bravo Redwoods Roofing 👏👏

  Initially spoke with Jordan to get a quote. We agreed on the Price. His crew came in and did an excellent job in a timely Manor. Melissa in the office did a wonderful job and was very responsive to any concerns I had. I would I would definitely use Redwood Roofing again.

  Redwood roofing it’s extremely conscientious and reliable I had an old chimney that needed to be removed, and they came out while I was at work, climbed up on the roof and assessed the situation. They gave me a quote and within the week the work was done The price they charge me was very reasonable and you wouldn’t even know they were On my roof, as there was no mess left behind and the patch matches my old roof perfectly

  Redwood Roofing did an excellent job putting on our new roof that was needed in order to proceed with our planned solar installation.
