  Edit I want to be clear that this was a Scotts valley Knox roofing truck. So no I will not remove my review. It wasn't from Florida or in Florida as they replied. It was in Aptos California in the same county. I am a local. And at the time COVID was raging and my mother was dying. " The guy coughed right in my face. The clearly do not care about wearing masks or spreading Covid. I had an incident while picking up food at Snow White with a Knox Roofing person driving a Knox Truck who I believe is the owner. I was next to pick up my food. He had no mask on him. He clearly saw me raise my mask when he got close to me. He clearly saw the many signs posted. He clearly just didn't care. My bedridden mother cares. I care. The employees at my work and our clients care. I sent them messages hoping to get a reply in a considerate manor but they read it and chose to ignore it. THEY DON'T CARE.

  Getting my roof replaced today. Look what Knox roofing did to my home in 1997! I find this very unprofessional. Mr. Knox laughed at me when I complained.

  The roof they put on (2016) 4 years ago has leaked 5 times. given they do eventually come out and repair it a brand new roof shouldn't be leaking every single time it rains. Its causing damage to my walls and interior. I was told that the roofer that did the work used nails that were too short and they had to replace the whole peak. everything's been downhill from there. This last time I called because water was running into my bedroom they didn't even bother to come out. Not even sure what to do at this point cant afford another new roof and this one is under warranty still. I will call them again next time it rains. edit.. it is now 6 years later and it has leaked and needed fixing every single year since installation and twice this year. I need to call them again because its leaking in my bathroom... again... Edit.... Jan and Feb and March of 2024 the roof is leaking again of course and they won't come out to fix it. Someone has come out 4 different times to place plastic up on my roof but they haven't come to fix it. I contacted Warren and they now won't return my emails anymore. I'm going to have to replace a 30 year roof after 7 years. We spent good money on this roof and expected it to last at least the 10 years it's warranty is for.

  Worst customer service ever and the brunette woman was awful to have to deal with. Save your yourself the headache and find another roofer

  This review is unfair as you have never done business with Knox Roofing. The only contact you have had with Knox Roofing was when you recently parked your bus and motorcycle in front of our business for over two months. Your vehicles were taking up parking spaces that are needed for our employees and customers. The Scotts Valley Police department addressed the situation because this area has a 72-hour limit for vehicle parking. Your personal attack on our business and employee was totally vindictive and unwarranted. We have no qualms with you, and we hope you stay healthy and safe.

  Knox Roofing built a nice 40-year roof at top-dollar, but after 10 years a portion of the gutters that they poorly re-installed fell down and became damaged (we discovered that more than 1/2 the hangers were missing in that 25 foot section)! So, when this happened several years ago I thought I’d call to give them an opportunity to rectify the situation and keep me as a happy customer — but my call was never returned. With the recent rains and a badly leaking gutter I left another message directly with Warren Knox, but again with no reply. Some might say that 10 years is too long to raise this issue (though that’s their labor guarantee), but correcting their crew’s rushed mistake would be quick and easy and keep me as a loyal customer instead of an unhappy one with other roofs to maintain. Not one-star, but a disappointed two.

  I wish I could put 0 stars. My roof was brand new last year... and after a few weeks, on the first rain we woke up to a lot of leaks. I had to call not once, nor twice.. more like 5-7 time …

  There is something wrong with this company. No communication at all with each other and client. he forgets what he said. 700.$ later, the leaks weren’t fixed, now, they want more money.

  Knox Roofing was Great. Habitat for Humanity Monterey Bay’s local home owner had a terrible leak this winter, Knox roofing was quick to respond to the work and their staff was very professional. They did a great job installing the new roof. It should last for years to come.

  Warren is a great guy who stands behind his work. He’s done 2 roofing jobs for me at a great price. Warren personally comes out to inspect and oversee each job. When my girlfriend had a problematic roof, Warren replaced it and would call her after each big rain storm, just to make sure everything was ok. We became friends with Warren because he is an honest business man and quite a character with a great personality. There’s no other roofer that I’d recommend. To quote Warren, THANKS FOLKS!

  Knox Roofing was recommended by two neighbors. Jason was friendly, on time, took a good look. Our roof was in better shape than we thought, nothing needed for a couple of years, shared photos, explained a few things, and offered info for future. Without a doubt, we will hire Knox Roofing for repairs and replacement. Great experience.

  Warren Knox comes personally to give you his experience and do your estimate. They are straight with what you need and what you don't need which in today's times of upselling, is very refreshing. Their rates are competitive and their staff are super friendly. Knox even makes some beautiful garden boxes.

  I previously posted a review indicating Knox had never completed my roofing inspection /permit. They have since explained a unique employee situation that understandably left them not knowing the status of in progress work. They have resolve the permit issue to my satisfaction. As I said before the roof work was done well with no leaks or issues in 4 years

  My parents got a synthetic material roof put on their house well over 15 years ago. It has held up through all the storms and fallen branches and the gutter work is great too. Highly recommended. Knox is the best, only the best!

  We recently used Knox Roofing to do multiple shake roof and waterproofing repairs on our commercial buildings at the Barnyard in Carmel. We couldn't have been happier with how quickly they quoted the job and executed the work. Great people to work with. We will absolutely use them again.

  Well, in the middle of renovating the exterior of my house, a fairly large project, we unexpectedly found a failure in a flat roof under a deck. We called Knox Roofing and within two days they had a crew there and fixed it less than a half a day, returning it to as new condition. This isn’t the first time Knox Roofing has come to my rescue and it won’t be the last as I will always call them whenever I have any issues with the roof.
