  It was VERY expensive to get this guy to fix one small hole with tar and replace one section of ridge cap (15 ft), as well to go into attic to spray 3 small areas. It was $1500 for 2hours max. I know the 4 shingle bundles he picked up were more than he needed and he admitted they were about $60/bundle. Not sure but I got the feeling I was paying twice because another business referred him to me.

  Hello Elle. I understand you are displeased with the price of your roof repair. Unfortunately you called another company who came up with that price and then sub contracted recovery roofing to do the repair at that set price. If you called recovery roofing first, I am sure we could of gave you a much better deal.

  We recently had our roof replaced by Mitch Ulisfer of Recovery Roofing. Being the owner he provides excellent workmanship at a reasonable price. He is a GAF certified installer which is important for the transferable warranty. Having been in the roofing business myself it was easy to determine the difference between the professional roofer that Mitch is and the BS merchants. Mitch stands head and shoulders above other roofers. He pays attention to important detail that would be overlooked by most roofers and customers. Unlike others who try to work on several jobs at the same time leaving a trail of unhappy customers in their wake, Mitch stays on the job with his crew from start to finish leaving the job site clean with the work done in a very professional manner with no loud music. I would highly recommend Mitch to anyone interested in having a roof installed professionally at a reasonable price by an honest roofer.   Mitch replaced a roof for me last summer and did an excellent job. He was prompt, professional, and left the worksite clean and tidy. Best of all, his final price matched his quote exactly, no surprises. After the windstorm earlier this week, a few shingles blew off my office building. I gave Mitch a call, and he was able to come out the very same day to fix it. Huge relief knowing I don’t have to worry about leaks. Highly recommend!

  5 STARS!!!! I couldn’t be more impressed with the work Mitch from Recovery Roofing did on my home. His attention to detail is on a completely different level, and it shows in every part of the job. Mitch doesn’t just “install a roof”—he builds it to last. He future-proofs against shingle failure by making sure every vent and flashing is protected, with no seams and no nails placed too close to those vulnerable areas. He even adjusts the stagger so each flashing and vent is fully covered by a complete shingle, not a cut piece. In all the high water-flow areas, he sealed every fastener with Geocel 4500, and ensured there are zero seams in any of the problematic spots other roofs typically fail. He also reinstalled our bathroom exhaust pipes correctly with higher-quality materials and better tape—something no previous roofer had bothered to do. There are no exposed fasteners anywhere except the self-sealing rubber-grommet screws, and he even hand-crafted custom folded flashings to make sure water is directed exactly where it should go. It’s rare to find someone who takes this level of pride in their workmanship. If you want a roof done right, done once, and built to outlast the shingles themselves, Mitch is the guy you want on your roof. Absolutely five stars. Thank you Mitch for all your hard work

  With the recent heavy rain, I unfortunately experienced a bad leak in my bathroom. Mitch came recommended and after briefly chatting, he arranged to come inspect my roof and the suspected leaking area the following day (less than 24hrs later). He found issues the previous 2 roofers didn’t find, fixed them promptly and even climbed up into my attic to inspect any additional damages that could have occurred (thankfully there were none). Mitch was professional, punctual and great at communicating with me through out this stressful process. He was very knowledgeable and kind. When he comes time to replace this roof, I plan to hire him back. Thank you Mitch!

  We just had Recovery Roofing do our roof. It was on schedule and on budget, and that's impressive in this day and age. The owner communicated well with us ensuring we knew in advance the schedule and what to expect. The cleanup was impressive. Highly recommend!!

  Totally satisfied with this company. Just a small repair but Mitch came out while he was camping in the area with his family. Very dedicated to his work.
