The critical reviews

The one and two-star reviews, first. These are what a star average hides, and they are the reason this page exists.

We hold no one or two-star review text for ProFlat Roofing Company. That is not the same as there being none — it means our capture did not reach any. The rating breakdown above is Google’s own count and is the number to go on.

Been managing this property for years and the flat roof was always the thing that kept me up at night. Called ProFlat after the last one botched a repair and left us worse off. Difference in how they approached it was clear right away. They actually got up there and looked at the whole thing before quoting instead of guessing from the ground. Ended up doing a full replacement since the underlayment was shot in places. The work took the better part of a week and they kept our tenants informed about noise which people appreciated. What I liked most is they didnt disappear once the deposit was in. The project lead answered my calls and gave me updates when I asked. The new roof has held through a rough winter with no issues, no leaks, no pooling in the corners where it used to sit. Billing was clean and matched the quote. For anyone sitting on an aging commercial roof and dreading the cost, at least these folks tell you straight what you are dealing with and dont pad the job.

Our building had an old flat roof that was well past its life and we finally pulled the trigger on getting it replaced. ProFlat gave us a straight answer on what needed doing without trying to pile on extra stuff we didnt need. The estimate matched the final bill which does not always happen with contractors. They worked on it over about a week and kept the debris contained so it wasnt all over our parking lot. I compared a few companies around Tinley Park before settling on them and they were the ones who genuinely explained why the old roof kept giving us trouble instead of just quoting a number. The tenants in the units below had no complaints which is saying something... Water was getting into one of the offices before and that has stopped completely. I checked the roof myself after the first heavy rain and everything drained the way it should. They also showed me a couple spots to keep an eye on down the road which was useful info. Good outfit to deal with if you own commercial property and are tired of patching.

We had a slow leak in the corner of our retail space that nobody could pin down. Two other roofers came out, poked around, gave us vague answers about possibly needing a full replacement. The estimator from ProFlat actually got up there …

This was a bigger project for us so I want to give a full picture for anyone else weighing options. We manage a small commercial plaza and the flat roof over two of the units had been patched way too many times to keep pretending it was …

First call was actually pleasant which is rare. they sent someone out two days later to look at the roof and emailed a proposal same night. signed off a week later and crew showed up exactly when they said. Tear off and new membrane done in about four days. Paid the deposit, paid the rest after walkthrough, no surprise charges tacked on at the end. Been about a month now and zero issues so far.

We had ProFlat replace the flat roof on our office building, roughly 4,000 square feet. The old membrane had started to bubble and separate in a few areas, and rather than keep patching it every spring we decided to go with a full …

had a leak above the breakroom that two other companies said meant a full replacement. these guys showed up traced it to an old HVAC curb patched the flashing properly and saved us a serious chunk of budget. six months later still dry. refreshing to deal with someone who actually diagnoses instead of selling the biggest possible job

ProFlat replaced the flat roof on our strip mall - three connected units, each with their own HVAC equipment sitting on top. What really matters to me is how they handled all that rooftop equipment. The previous roof had these ugly patches …

so this started back in the fall when we noticed some staining on the ceiling tiles in our back office. figured it was the roof but wasnt sure how bad. got a few quotes from different companies and ProFlat was somewhere in the middle price wise but they were the most thorough when they came out to look at it. the rep actually went up on the roof with a camera and showed me photos of where things were breaking down. didnt just say trust me its bad, actually showed me which i liked. once we agreed on the scope they scheduled it out about two weeks later. the crew was up there early every morning, took about four working days total. they kept the dumpster in our back lot so it didnt block customer parking which was a nice touch honestly. after they wrapped up the rep came back for a final walkthrough and went over what they did and what the warranty covers. its been through winter now and no leaks, ceiling tiles are dry. whole thing went pretty smooth from start to finish

New TPO Membrane on our strip mall building, the old one was like 18 years old and honestly falling apart. They tore everything off and put down new insulation too which I didn’t realize would make such a difference for the heating bill. The surface looks clean and uniform now, no wrinkles or bubbles anywhere.

had a flat roof installed on our commercial property in Orland Park and really happy with how everything turned out. the building is about 8000 square feet and the existing roof was an old modified bitumen system that was past its lifespan with blistering and cracked seams everywhere. ProFlat came out and gave us a detailed proposal for a full TPO roofing system with new insulation and updated drainage. they were upfront about the timeline and cost and there were no surprises along the way which we appreciated bc weve been burned before by contractors who lowball the quote then nickel and dime you with change orders. crew showed up on schedule and was there every day working hard. the tear off went smooth and they found a few soft spots in the decking that needed repair which they documented and showed us before proceeding. new insulation went down with proper tapering toward the drains so water moves off the roof efficiently. the TPO membrane was hot air welded at every seam and the flashing details around our rooftop HVAC units and vents were done really clean and tight. they also replaced all the pipe boots and added new drain baskets. whole flat roofing project took about two weeks from demo to final cleanup and the roof looks brand new from the ladder. weve been through heavy rain summer heat and a winter with snow loads and everything is performing perfectly. no leaks no ponding no membrane issues of any kind. really solid work and fair pricing for the scope of the job.

ProFlat did a great job on our commercial roof inspection. The guys were professional and gave us a fair price for the maintenance work. Communication was good throughout the whole project
