  Mike, the homeowner originally left us a 5 star review after the work was completed so no, we did not have issues from the start. He then went back and changed it to a 2 star after the claims process with the carrier's claim department and adjusters dragged on for months and we just wanted to be paid the balance due. We performed all the work we were hired to do which was, install a new roof, gutters and downspouts. We sent 91 photos of documentation of the "before," the "tear off," and the " after/completion" photos to his insurance carrier as documentation however. There was 1 photo of some flashing that we installed but, we didn't get paid for it from State Farm since we forgot to snap a photo showing the "before" damaged flashing. I would agree that there was a lack of communication between State Farm's claims department to the homeowner and ultimately to us. I don't doubt the claims department was overwhelmed and behind with the amount of claims that they were handling. A claim used to take 2-4 days for a file review and now it can take as long as 3-4 weeks so followup with the claims department is important for all parties. Regarding the "use tax," I never once said YOU owe for it. I listed the full cost of the building permit on my certificate of completion and invoice that I submitted to State Farm along with the building department's payment receipt, just the same as I have hundreds of other times through the years. They said they were not going to reimburse me for the use tax, only the cost of the building permit. This was a first for me and again, I never said you owe or you had to pay it. State Farm has always paid it, I said they owe for it. Your final invoice had only the prices that State Farm agreed to pay us for the roof, gutters, downspouts and building permit for the work we completed. Best Regards, Prime Time Roofing

  I contacted Prime Time Roofing to perform a roof inspection for insurance. Joe was very responsive and came to the house within 24 hours, going above and beyond with a full inspection even though I just needed a quick checkup for insurance.   These guys are good, handled everything for my hail claim, paint, gutters siding and roof. Easy to work with and they did exactly what they said they would do. Kept in communication though out the entire process. Highly recommend.
