We asked Porter Family Roofing for a detailed roof assessment so we could give an honest report during the sale of our home. Jeffrey completed a very thorough inspection, checking the roofing materials, decking, flashing, and the attic for any signs of leaks or moisture. Out of the roofing estimators we met with, none matched the level of detail and care shown during this inspection. We really appreciated the professionalism, clear communication, and honest evaluation of our roof’s condition, along with a fair estimate and helpful explanations about what might need attention. I would gladly recommend them to anyone who needs an accurate roof inspection and a trustworthy roofing opinion.

A roofing company put a new roof on my home, and it looked great from the start. The crew got me on the schedule quickly, worked efficiently, and did a very thorough cleanup when the job was finished. Later, we noticed a small leak near the chimney flashing, and after a minor mix-up on my end, Jeffrey helped get the repair handled right away. They honored the roof warranty, took responsibility, and made the needed fix without hassle. I was already very pleased with the original roofing work, and after seeing how seriously they stand behind their workmanship and service, I am even more satisfied. The whole experience showed they care about quality, communication, and long-term customer support.

i hired them for a full roof replacement with a cedar tear-off on my two-story home in Mesquite, and the whole process went very smoothly from start to finish. the estimator was very knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. He answered all of my questions clearly and explained the roofing materials, scope of work, and installation details in a way that made me feel comfortable moving forward. During the job, Tucker, the on-site supervisor, stayed in regular contact with me and kept me updated on each step of the roofing project. When a few issues were discovered, everything was explained honestly and handled right away. That level of communication and transparency really stood out. The crew worked efficiently, kept the area organized, and the finished roof looks great. My neighbors have already mentioned how nice it looks and how much it improved the appearance of the house. After several heavy rainstorms and hot Texas weather, everything has held up perfectly with no leaks at all. i am very happy with the workmanship, and i would gladly recommend them to anyone needing roofing work. if i need any other roof repairs or exterior projects, i would absolutely call them again.

We had a great experience with this roofing team in Mesquite. After a hard Texas rain, we noticed a roof leak and they were very quick to inspect the problem and fix it fast. we originally thought we needed a whole new roof, so i asked them to come out and take a look. Instead of trying to push a full roof replacement just to make a sale, they were honest and said the shingles and roofing system still had several good years left. They repaired the flashing and the area around the chimney, checked the surrounding roof section, and made sure everything was sealed up right. since then, we have not had any more issues. it is hard to find a roofer that is this fair, responsive, and trustworthy, and when we do need a new roof, they will absolutely be the ones we call.

Porter Family Roofing handled our roof installation with great care and professionalism from start to finish. The crew was on time, efficient, and highly skilled, making the whole roofing process smooth and stress free. They kept the job site clean, explained each step clearly, and made sure the materials and workmanship met high standards. The finished roof looks strong, clean, and well built, and it has added both protection and curb appeal to our home in Mesquite. With the hot Texas weather, it gives us real peace of mind knowing the roof is durable and ready to hold up well. I was very impressed with the attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction, and I would gladly recommend them to anyone needing dependable roof repair or roof installation services.

I used Porter Family Roofing for my storm-damaged roof and shed roof repair, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. The owner was very experienced in roofing and general construction, explained everything clearly, and took time to answer all of my questions and concerns. They offered the best value and customer service compared with the other roofing companies I contacted. The installation crew was professional, worked efficiently, and made sure the job site stayed clean. My new roof looks great, and the shed roof turned out just as well. I also appreciated working with a local roofing company that truly cares about its customers and stands behind its workmanship. After seeing the quality of the roof replacement, I plan to use them for gutters as well. If you want a fair, knowledgeable roofer that is easy to work with and understands storm-related roofing needs, this is a great choice.

A local family-owned roofing company installed my standing seam metal roof and did a great job from start to finish. They knew the old shingles needed to be removed first and the proper underlayment and barrier had to go down so the metal …

I had mixed feelings at first, but my recent roof repair experience with Porter Family Roofing turned everything around and earned this 5-star review. Logan was outstanding, and I would gladly ask for him again on any future roofing project. After a new roof was installed, I noticed leaks around my skylights during heavy rain. A follow-up visit helped some, but the issue was not fully solved right away. Later, Logan came out, inspected the flashing and skylight area, found the source of the problem quickly, and put together a solid repair plan that worked. He explained everything clearly, stayed in touch through the process, and made sure the roofing work was completed the right way. I also appreciated learning more about skylights and roof replacement. It would have been helpful to know earlier that older skylights can sometimes need attention when a new roof is installed, but once Logan got involved, he handled the situation professionally and made the whole experience much better. He stood behind the work, took care of the repair at no extra charge, and showed real pride in doing quality roofing service. In the end, I am very impressed with the workmanship, communication, and follow-through. If you need help with a roof, leaks, flashing, or skylight repairs, Logan is the one I would recommend.

Very pleased with the roofing work Porter Family Roofing completed at my home in Mesquite. Eli and his crew finished a full roof replacement, new gutters, and gutter guard installation in under two days, which was impressive considering how much was included. They tore off the old shingles and nails down to the roof deck, replaced the leaking and damaged plywood, and made sure the structure was solid before installing the new system. They added premium leak barrier at the roof eaves, around pipe boots, dormer walls, and near the chimney, then installed full underlayment across the entire roof deck along with starter shingles at the eaves and rake edges. They also replaced the vent pipe flashings, installed a new roof vent system, and added new ridge caps for proper attic airflow, which is especially important in the Mesquite heat. Around the chimney, they removed the old step flashing and counter flashing and installed new flashing with a cut-in style method for a clean, watertight finish. For the gutter work, they removed the old gutters and downspouts and installed new seamless gutters with hidden hangers, plus aluminum gutter guards to help keep out leaves and reduce future maintenance. They also replaced a gable vent on the front of the house, which helped complete the exterior roofing system. What really stood out was the care they took with the property. Instead of using a standard dumpster that could damage the driveway, they used a wheeled truck-mounted container. Cleanup was very thorough, and they ran magnets over the area to pick up stray nails and metal pieces. The workmanship warranty was excellent, the manufacturer coverage added extra peace of mind, and the final price came in lower than other roofing quotes I received. I was extremely impressed and would highly recommend them.

Our experience was great from start to finish with this roofing team in Mesquite. We worked with eli and they really know customer service. The roofing materials were high quality, and they answered every question we had. They explained the roof replacement process much better than the other roofing contractors we spoke with at first. There were a couple small items needed to finish the job, and everything was handled smoothly. We received photos before, during, and after the work, which gave us a lot of confidence in the crew. We were also impressed that a manager stayed on site the whole time our roof was being replaced. Now we do not have to worry about rain leaks, and with the Texas heat, we are hopeful the improved roofing system and ventilation will help with energy efficiency. we are happy with the workmanship, the communication, and the overall care they showed. i would recommend this roofer to anyone looking for professional service, quality materials, and a crew that goes above and beyond. they made the whole process easy, and we felt informed the entire time. it was a smooth and stress free experience.

Tucker and his crew were fantastic. He used a drone to inspect the house and shared clear photos of the roof, then showed me pictures of how the new roofing system would be installed. He explained the whole process in simple terms, including the roofing materials, ventilation, flashing details, timeline, and cleanup plan, so I always knew what to expect. Once we signed the agreement and I chose the roof tile color, the crew got the job scheduled quickly. They completed the full roof replacement in just one day, and later returned to install new gutters at no extra cost as part of the package. Everything was handled in a fast and professional way. They also took great care to protect the neighboring homes and kept the property clean throughout the project. After the work was finished, they did a thorough cleanup and made sure everything looked great. In Mesquite, it is important to have a strong roof that can handle the heat, sun, wind, and storms, and this crew delivered exactly that. I highly recommend them for roofing and gutter work.
